For value, eye appeal, design, quality, and control on pop the x-fractor is an amazing card and one of my favorite cards too look at in my collection.

I'll need to look up the wave. Usually this is where eye4talent is many steps ahead and replies by posting multiples of the card mentioned to be rare and unique.

Got me thinking what card I own has the best Yordan auto. I looked thru all my cards and this had the best quality. I like a slightly bigger Y, but this had everything else I look for in a Yordan auto. Specifically the clean blue lines and the distinct a's. Equal length in the height "n" , "l", and "z".

Unfortunate my best auto quality of Yordan is a sticker.

I'm a long shot odds guy who also builds in enjoyment money as I watch all his at bats. And I love long shots who have the potential to be the best ever. I only need Yordan to have the very small chance to be the best hitter ever. Else I would not have ever started collecting him.

Unfortunatly I entered collecting again at height of pandemic. Did not get ahead of it. Hence my stupidity of collecting Marco for long term. Love that kid also for his style. Marco has killed it in minors but will never be profitable.

I picked Yordan two years ago and went all in on him because:
- fun to watch. I watch every at bat now as a fan.
- everyone at that time hated Astros. Huge upside for future. Yordan had nothing to do with any shenanigans.
- believe can recover from his injury. I did.
- I only care about hitting. Make a big separation personally that fielding is over rated. I didn't start collecting Juan Soto because his ability to dive for a baseball.

And after all those risks and deep in 5 figures of his cards I'd estimate I'm slightly up ~30% on my purchases. But it's always been about the 30 year small chance with me. Because I get so much enjoyment of holding his cards now and building an amazing collection.

I only need a 10% chance that I can be profitable with Yordan. I mention all this because I post alot of high end Yordan....but I'm a fan far before an investor.

He's 1 of a couple prospects (Jasson D another one) that if you bought at peak prices 1 year ago you have very very small chance of ever turning a profit.

Almost nothing to do with player performance. More with just the market of prospect correction and these players overly hyped. Just my opinion.

Dusty has talked about that in the past. He has worked with Yordan at 1B in practice and the plan was for him to play there at some point "in the future." I'm actually surprised he hasn't played there yet this year.
