Any advice? I have a 2020 topps series 1 ALVAREZ SSP CLOSE UP in a PSA 10. Wondering if I should should sell now or hold long term. Last I checked Pop was under 40.

I actually pulled it from a blaster box. Sent into PSA myself. So I’m into it for about $40

If you’re going to sell in the near-term, I’d wait a month or two. The market still doesn’t show that he’s being taken seriously, but if he reaches 40 HR with and an average still above .300 and an OPS above 1.000, I would think his prices would kick into a next gear.

I agree with this except for one thing. If you're going to hold it a month or two, might as well wait until Spring Training. We're heading into the baseball doldrums. Whatever bumps there are in the road for the overall market, Yordan's prices are going to shoot up heading into next year.

Thanks. Your right after looking at more pics online. My inexperience is showing!

Guess I'll have to offer the seller an option if wants it back. As I think gold foils sell for a small amount more then rainbows. Else I'll just rip it out of the psa case and keep it.

Everyone should have a SCC Yordan X-fractor RC, such a gorgeous card.

Speaking of SCC, does anyone have the wave version? I kind of forget they existed and I've never seen one.

Great point. Sometimes it's too much to ask for an amazing auto on a super rare card. There was a Yordan Ginter 1/1 a while back that had a real streaky Y that kept me from going for it. I regret that now!
