I sent a bunch in at $50. I have 27 ready to go at the $18 level now. I also have 7 in person autographed cards that I just want to get authenticated/encapsulated. Should I send these in separate packages, or is it ok to send different orders together? Thanks in advance.

Are the in person cards anything you need back right away? Just asking because Raiderguy10 does a massive PSA authentication sub every January, and we get discounted pricing -

The answer is yes. You can combine as many orders you want in one package. Just click combine orders in your order homepage and the appropriate packing label will be generated.

The new price doesn't apply to dual grade

Anything that involves auto authentication can not be submitted under this special. You can submit a card that has a "certified" auto included at release from factory and not get dual grading.

This 1996 cutoff is really throwing a wrench in my sub. You think a 95-96 basketball card would pass for the 1996 and up?

Being that the Flip would only say 1995, then that should be a no... But maybe they let it slide.

I read through the whole thread but wasn't sure I found this answer. Does an upcharge in this instance mean it will be $30/card if between the $200-$499 Value (non-National) tier DV limit? And then $500-999 range would be charged at the $50/card Economy rate?

A lot of the stuff I grade is lower pop stuff registry folks scoop up or Pokémon that has a huge world market. I'm not worried about lack of buyers but not expecting any overall price appreciation between now and then.

In general you are safe about 50% over the DV though you can still get hit. I’d say anything 300-650ish would become 30. Anything 650ish-1250ish would be $50. It varies.

They dont realize the huge market for Pokemon, so keep it a secret.

If there is such a big market, don't you think someone else in here would actually know that secret?

It's not a secret but a lot of sports collectors don't understand the Pokémon game or market. My daughter got into Pokémon a long time ago and I was somewhat mocking it at the time. About six years ago I started dabbling with the cards as a family hobby when I realized there was some value added to graded versions. It's since overtaken my sports cards sales. I'm astounded by the number of countries I've shipped graded and ungraded Pokémon cards to.

Has PSA started imaging every card they grade yet? I was excited to see that included in their 2022 New Years Resolutions. I'm holding on to my low end stuff until they roll out imaging all levels.

Just had to try to bug you because you keep repeating this Pokemon stuff which I know is big at this time. I am sure the market has/will crash with the economy sucking just like most sports cards have done.

I think they are not planning on taking images of any of the cards received in bulk for the backlog from 2021. From the verbiage it says, "Our goal for 2022 is to open this free service to every card we receive and grade, regardless of submission level." Part of the imaging is they received the card in 2022. I would feel pretty confident that any card submitted, even at the $18 level, would be imaged.

The majority of submissions to PSA right now, because it is the hot thing, is Pokémon. Right now, every month, about 250,000 cards are being added to the POP reports. TCG total POP right now is under 5 million for PSA. By the end of 2023 it will be well over 10 million. It is a simple supply/demand issue and each month there is well over 300,000 Pokemon cards being returned from PSA/CGC. Flippers keep on moving to the next "hot" thing. It was basketball in 2020, soccer in 2021, and formula 1 in 2022. Reality for Pokemon will happen in 2023. Grade might reply to this post, but I have him on ignore. I hope everyone enjoys his response to mine, since I can't read it.

You do a great job of it! I know you hate CSG. I love their slabs, but certain graders there have fallen in love with the 9.5 grade (mint +). Last submission had 12 times the amount of 9.5s compared to 10s when prior submissions had about 1:1 ratio or slightly more 10s than 9.5s.

Since someone asked about ACH do you send out a 1099 in the new year or is that my responsibility to keep track of everything for tax season? Do I have to cash out balance or can use it towards more grading or purchasing cards you have listed on EBay? Thank you.

I dont hate them, They just screwed the early supporters by all the changes made in 1 year.
Yes, Even CGC at one point fell in love with 8.5's .

It is just inconsistent right now with CSG/CGC, need to wait them out until they get out of BETA.

Cracked a bunch from last year early subs, want to see what they grade this year. Should be interesting.
