Yeah that is my fear. They can literally put in 10 retail packs worth $30 each for all we know since it isn’t specified. I wouldn’t want that.

There will be retail packs. You can see them in the pictures of the sell sheet. However, this is shaping up to possibly be a good product. Just would be nice to know how much is created.

if it is just going to be one possible bonus card in every 3 boxes, then probably not worth taking the chance....and saying that, I'll probably still end up buying a box since I only go to the National when it's in Chicago.

Sadly no 1 per box shirt this year either.

The gift certificates being added don't move the needle for me. Long odds to get them and if I did get one, I don't like Loupe or Goldin.

I’ve never heard of it. I see all of these announcements and it’s shocking how I want to buy it less and less as a result. They don’t need me though, they’ll sell out like usual.

I actually used it this past week for the first time. Leaf was selling Trinity baseball boxes direct on the site for a great price, and it's a product that I'm a big fan of. So I took advantage of it. I don't think I'll be on it all the time, but for instances like that I will take advantage.

It was in an email blast last month from NSCC so you would at least have heard of them if you were signed up. It's some tech startup with a trading card app. Too bad they don't realize card collectors are notoriously low tech.

I went ahead and pre-ordered a case, I have been tempted in the past but never pulled the trigger. Its a tough spot - their options were either sell the boxes for $500+ and put in unopened boxes, most of which would be retail with maybe a lower value baseball box or two, or go cheaper with packs instead. Since last year didn't go great with reactions, they opted to go cheaper instead of more expensive. I do like, even though its funny, that they keep throwing more and more into it, I assume based on feedback and lower pre-orders. Keep it coming BO

Its not as big a deal for me as I'm a ripper anyway and I am going to *trust* that blowout isn't putting packs that have been sifted through to remove the hits. I'll put my case results somewhere, good or bad. I guess for me, I just enjoy ripping packs and at least I know I'll get at least 60 different packs to open, a couple "hits", and maybe some candy. But I certainly understand for anyone that flips the boxes they aren't interested in to re-coup some of the money that this change sucks, selling packs is brutal business unless its a VIP or something.

BBB makes sense since they are likely filing for bankruptcy soon. They fit in with the other coupon vendors.
