Are you buying the Blowout mega mix box? It's 500 dollars a box. Hefty price.

Compared to product prices nowadays, $500 doesn't seem too bad for 3-5 items and a 1:5 chance for something higher end. Will try one or two.

I think you will have a better ROI taking your money to the casino down the road. Wax is way overpriced right now and this is just an excuse to dump some of that in blind boxes.

I took a shot at a couple of these 2 years ago since there was a chance at Panini VIP tickets and ended up with a bunch of press pass boxes, not impressed.

This year with no VIP party I will only be shopping for products good for redemptions or singles.

I'm buying at least one. I love these every year.

Would consider one if bo is also doing the bulk auto and game used program at the show and can trade for store credit.

was sold out last time before the show, so you wouldn't be able to get it there if that happens again

I bought 2 last time around, but I think I'm out at this price...

I have a feeling I am going to be more disappointed this year as box prices have gone nutso, so I won't be able to buy much

Where does it say that Panini is not having a VIP party??? I have not seen anything on any VIP Parties except for Onyx...Please post something if you saw something from Panini about that...thanks!

People have been spreading rumors that Panini will not have a vip party and that them and topps were have limited or no wrapper redemptions for this year. I havent seen where these rumors came from but there gaining traction.

It's all an assumption at this point but if Panini is having one surely Blowout would be one of the first to know about it. The fact that there is no mention of VIP party passes in these boxes this year is a very strong indicator that there will not be a VIP party.

I hope I am wrong in this assumption.

Dunno what is going on with Panini. They typically have some kind of Father's Day pack promos on their website but didn't see anything this year. LCS didn't get any Father's Day packs. Have also heard the same rumors that Panini isn't doing a VIP party this year.

With so much attention being given to sports cards this year, it seems like a pretty big missed opportunity not to do something huge at this year's National.

They don’t have to do anything because the market is so strong right now. However, I don’t listen to rumors. Until the company announces what their intentions are nobody really knows what is going to happen.

FWIW… my LCS owner told me a week ago he got confirmation NO VIP party this year. Panini however was working on trying to do something for breakers/card shops but wasn’t sure if that was even going to come to fruition.

It's a no for me dog. no grand prizes like in the past (vip tickets), and the price has more than doubled.

I'd probably take the $500 and play a couple hours of blackjack but you could of course spread it over the roulette table. Either way, you are probably going to do better. Then again, group breakers will be making out better than the casino.

$500 at a $25 blackjack table with 6 decks and a hand shuffle would be your best odds at the casino. :)!

Sadly, I agree that I’m out at this price. I’ve always bought them in the past, but $500 for overpriced wax just doesn’t work for me now.

I'll try at least one. I got lucky on the 2019 version and hit a 2017 Prizm Football hobby box.

I made like $15 the last time around by selling the contents on my 2 boxes last time...

I'm a gambler, but even if I hit a box that was selling close to the $500, I'd feel like I lost, since I haven't been buying boxes at these high prices
