I think CSG is a great option, but don’t get it twisted, I know some cards must be sent to PSA as long as their ROI is significantly different. When, I think it will, the ROI regularly get within 80% of PSA, THE TAT will make the decision tougher. 120 days vs 3 weeks or even 45 days. The market changes fast! My 50 card submission has a little of everything.soccer, football, basketball, baseball, golf, wrestling. It will be a fun blind reveal.

I might submit my Connor McMichael PMG Red To PSA for color match reason, but I might just stick with CSG.

I agree that it is just a matter of time when CSG ROI will get to 80% of PSA. I think collectors are getting smarter and the most common thing I hear from others is "Why does PSA slabs sell for more when (insert CSG or SGC) grades as well and slabs are much nicer (hear that more with CSG slabs than SGC). I don't really have a great answer for them.

The reason is PSA did a great marketing job and all of the influencers and apps use PSA as their standard. The PSA registry is big as well. If PSA had turnaround times that are reasonable at a fair price, yes you can get it faster, but not all cards have that value, the other companies would struggle big time. CSG is getting the attention the slabs deserve, but it moves slow.

I really wanted to support CSG when they first started out and have given them multiple opportunities to impress me but they have failed in multiple ways every time. My latest gripe is a simple Reholder in which they damaged the back bottom left corner of a PC player. Compare certs 1003376001 and 1025711001 to see. They have damaged cards before but I've never had picture proof...

Hope is a bad thing to rely on in anything .

Just went to a card show today. PSA and BGS slabs 95% with sports Very few SGC and CSG for sports cards.

As usual, Non-Sports was PSA all levels and CGC low end (hopefully CGC absorbs CSG eventually) .

It is what it is .

You would be surprised. We always laughing and making fun of the serious peeps.
Hope and faith is great to a certain extent, but when it changes to fantasy and takes over a persons life. It becomes a serious problem.

My bulk order received on same date of 6/9 still says "Received" as well.

Don't be surprised if this is an error. They marked mine right after received for grading and then it went back to received. Seems like this is typical.

Yes, this is very typical and has happened on almost all of my submissions.

The same thing happened to mine. Mine is marked shipped, but with the post office closed today there will be a delay.

Don't be surprised if its a longer delay if you used USPS, my order was marked shipped on 6/11 and they still haven't arrived yet, didn't actually arrive at a USPS facility until 16th. I'm not sweating it since they finished the grading two weeks faster than what was advertised, but not the fastest return shipping procedure over there.

CGC was OK, but not anywhere near PSA returns.

I guess it depends if your a flipper that needs cash flow to operate.

Exactly! My grading has finished much faster and this will give me an idea about how people receive the new slabs becasue multiple Brady’s that could potentially be $1K each if the 10.

Got my bulk submission back today, in a little less than 30 days. Mainly basketball, but a little football/baseball. Solid, pretty fair overall, although a few low grades with nearly no visible flaws.

Noticed most of the die cuts had a inner sleeve, in a thicker case, similar to BGS. However there were some regular prizm/hoops cards in that as well. Maybe just a lack of right sized cases. The clarity isn’t quite as good without the sleeve.

I am worried about my 1980 cards at CSG right now after seeing some reveals and your cards. Looks like they don't want to give higher than a 8 to 8.5 for them. I have a beautiful Rodman, Stockton, Jordan, and Pippen that would all get 9's at PSA. I know that because I have graded over 30 1988 Fleer cards that got 9's. Only got one 10 and that was a Rodman. If I get 8's and 8.5's on these, I will crack and send to PSA. I pregraded everything like it was going to PSA. If they grade these 70's and 80's cards hard, I might buy slabs to crack and send to PSA.

I hop in and out of Blowout from time to time. I'm usually looking for a pulse on what's going on, use the forum for specific questions, look at new cards being opened, and try to share in hobbyists' excitement.

All that aside, I've noticed you (this person that I'm quoting) post often, and it's a nice steady fountain of negativity.

I will give you some great advice and apply it to your everyday life. Dont come in half way thru something and think you know what and who started the problem. This is the best advice anyone can give everyone.

That is how you get smashed in the real world. making assumptions with only 1/2 the story.
