DFS, Bullock, and Maxi 3 for 22 for 9 points. There’s your game.

This series should at least make Cuban spend some money to get Luka some more help this offseason.
If it was a 7 game series loss, he might want to tweak and run it back when they've outperformed their skill level because of Luka and need some major help at the 5 and on the wing. |

Hard to compete with the GS All-Stars $350 million payroll. That's pretty much the story of the series. Too many weapons for the Dallas flea market players to compete with. They do have the best player they just don't have 4 of them. Luka equals 2 of GS best players combined but they're still lacking 2.5 All-Stars.

Never mind that never happens..... In this league, you need to play both sides of the floor - superstars included. To be fair to Luka, damn, they need an interior presence.

The interior defense thing was often overlooked this season because most teams didn't have the discipline to stick to the game plan to attack the paint, especially if Dallas was hitting their 3s. But the Warriors are one of the most disciplined teams in the league. Last edited by TSonn; 05-22-2022 at 10:59 PM. |

If you look at the top 8 for both squads, ordered by relative talent, where would be the place that you would take the Mavs second best player? I personally would say maybe you take Brunson over Kuminga… but I’d rather have everyone up to Porter before even considering a non Doncic Maverick. Cuban and the front office need to get creative and bring in some talent.

You could take care of your problem by putting me on ignore. But probably too busy trying to defend Platinum and breaker culture in general.

It's the breaking of the salary cap rules that is the difference here and it's obvious. No one dares to talk about it and people can say sour grapes or whatever but it's a fact. They don't allow that kind of stuff in the NFL. Hard cap needed in the NBA so one team can't spend double everyone else. Warriors wouldn't be able to have all those players on the same team if they weren't allowed to abuse the soft salary cap rules. Their payroll is almost $700 million over the last 2 years. Take 2 of the Warriors highest paid players off that team and then how good are they?

Dallas is getting a healthy Hardaway back next year. Brunson is a free agent. If you plan on resigning Brunson, than they need to get rid of a guard somewhere. Bullock, Powell, and Kleber are all on expiring or non guaranteed contracts. Trade them for a wing. Make a run for Ayton (or sign and trade). Sending the Suns something like Dimwiddie and Powell for a sign and trade for Ayton and another asset.

Nah, he couldn't even make the playoffs last year with 3 other all-stars on his team. Took another one coming back this year and the emergence of Jordan Poole their borderline 5th All-Star averaging 18.5 PPG this season.

Dallas gets all the calls still loses the game. And now the big D fans are whining because their team is clearly overmatched carry on.

I don't understand why everyone gives Luka so much hate. He has taken the Mavs farther in the playoffs this year than anyone expected. All of the people that hate on Luka and praise Curry must not realize that Luka already has 2 more 40 point playoff games than Curry has had in his WHOLE CAREER! Luka also averages more points, rebounds, and assists per game. Luka also has a better 2 point field goal percentage and the supposed "greatest shooter ever" is only shooting a mere 2% better from the 3 point line for his playoff career. I just don't get the hate. I mean I know Luka can talk and showboat a bit too much, but Curry does it just as bad if not worse! Anyone can look at the rosters and see the Mavs are not as good as the Warrior's overall but that doesn't mean they don't have the most skilled individual player.

Curry Green Brunson Poole Klay Wiggins Finney-Smith Looney Dinwiddie Bullock Kleber Porter That’s my board. The Poole, Klay and Wiggins run is the difference in this series. Someone from Dallas needed to elbow their way in there |
