I decided to make a specific thread for Luka. This will be someplace we can talk about anything Luka. It can be about game highlights, cards....his mom, etc..

Finally after several days Luka and the Mavs are back in action tonight. I wonder if Hardaway and Lee will be playing. I also heard a rumor the Mavs are trying to trade Harrison Barnes to free up cap space. So he may be gone tomorrow.

Excited to see him live. Going to see the Mavs play the Nets on March 4th.

A Doncic jersey was delivered today. Hoping my 8-year-old son can get it autographed before the game. He managed to get Donovan Mitchell to sign a jersey at Barclays in November so I have hope for him.

Nothing better in life than seeing the pure joy on a kid's face after a moment like that. The Mitchell jersey is framed above his bed.

Without DeAndre Jordan mopping up all the defensive rebounds and without DSJ/Wes/Barnes hogging the ball, Luka's production is about to go way up.

In the first two post-trade games, Luka has averaged 27/10.5/8.5, which might be a reasonable indicator of what we can expect going forwards. His shot attempts are way up - 22.5 FGA over past two games compared to season average 15.8 FGA.

If anyone is familiar with Haralabos Voulgaris, high stakes sports bettor and current head of the Mavs' analytics department, you might recall that he was raving about Luka immediately after the draft. Haralabos had previously expressed a great fondness for Kristaps Porzingis, and the recent moves by the Mavs definitely have Haralabos' fingerprints all over them. Now that is particularly interesting to me because Haralabos had also made comments in the past to suggest that he agrees with the ultra high-usage role that the Rockets give to James Harden.

Anyway, I think we are about to see things get very, very interesting.

Was definitely not a great shooting night. But he contributes in a lot of different ways besides scoring so that is something he can always fall back on when the rock isn't falling. I've been more impressed with his rebounding and passing lately then anything. It'll be interesting to see how high those averages get if he can keep up this pace.

Rooting for Luka but it seems like Bucks have a team that could bother Luka some. Lots of quick, long and rangy defenders.

The Bucks are a very good team. Giannis is so good he's pretty much impossible to stop because of his athleticism and ability to get to the rim. Bledsoe was stuck to Luka all night like glue. Really trying to play him hard on defense but he still managed to score 20. It wasn't really much of a game though unfortunately.

Didn't one person on here pull like 5 of them in a case? I mean they look nice but yeah there are a lot of them. I like the /49 blue version that card is pretty.
