You know, I'm right here, you can address me directly. I really didn't want to dignify your accusations with a reply, but yeah I was shocked by that thread. I had no idea folks were talking about a video of a person who's here on the forum, who anyone could've linked or PM'd me to in order to find out what happened from a primary source, rather than making assumptions and forming a conspiracy theory at the end of it all.

I really just came on, super excited and happy about this autograph card and my player. I didn't expect to have to reply to folks who don't know me at all but are completely convinced that I can't be trusted. Based on a single video with no facts or context.

For the record, that video you referenced was genuine and documented my reaction in real time. I shared that video on my channel because it was supposed to be an awesome moment that turned out to be a horrible experience that I couldn't believe just happened to me.

I sent out funds with little protection amid a bunch of red flags because I wanted the card so badly. I thought I had been scammed at that moment - wouldn't you? When I spoke to the seller, he said he sent it. We surmised that it might have been stolen on the way but obviously there wasn't a lot of trust in either direction since we didn't know each other. But he agreed to refund me if he got insurance funds back from the Post Office, since he insured the card for the whole amount. After I helped him with his claim, he ghosted me. It wasn't until several months later and a police report produced from when I first opened that empty packet that Venmo Business finally made good on Purchase Protection. Thankfully I wasn't out both the money and the card, but if you know the 90s genre, you would probably want the card more, as I did.

That means the seller had my money and probably the insurance money and I was left in the dust. What kind of horrible scammer would I be to send $2700 over with questionable Venmo purchase protection? Even in a parallel universe where someone did that, they would never be able to show the card off or enjoy the card? Why would anyone ever do that who really loved cards? How desperate would you have to be to pull a scam like that? How desperate for money would you have to be to do that? Honestly, how desperate do you have to be to even hatch a conspiracy in your mind that someone would do that? What is even the end game?

If you really care about what happened, talk to people who have dealt with me. Watch my other videos. I have like 103 followers - just friends who enjoy watching me open mail days and talk about my Bonds cards. I really do love cards and I think if you saw a few more videos, you could tell that my passion is genuine and I don't have an agenda, other than maybe sometimes trying a little to hard to convince folks that Barry Bonds was an awesome baseball player.
