Luka Doncic Questionable Autograph Analysis

at this point i seen so many luka autographs.. I know what I"m willing to buy and what I won't and each individual has their choice to do the same whichever way they lean.

Was this theory first birthed on Blowout? Curious

Some outstanding work from OP and the Blowout Detective Agency on the whole but could this whole theory be overstated? I have nothing at stake.

Not sure how many times my signature has morphed but its multiple. And imagine having to bang out hundreds in different sittings too. If I was buying, I wouldn't care too much either way. Modern Sigs don't hold the same luster as pre 00's. But that's just my feeling.

Is anybody some type of qualified or accredited handwriting expert or are we pissing in the dark? I've watched a ton of crime sh*t too but 2 letters isn't conclusive. You need multiple vowels, more letters etc

You know what else is a little weird? theLUCKYshow having an issue with my input on this thread, finding me on Instagram and messaging me wanting to start something, then putting my name in his story for no good reason after I called him out for it. I'm one of many who don't believe the sticker autos (and likely others) aren't real, yet I'm kinda being harassed on another platform for it because of this guy. That is weird to me.

I'm not arguing that 100% of "lulu" autos are not signed by Luka.

I'm talking specifically the Prizm sticker "lulu" autos which to me still do not look like the IP autos from @jerrygarcia

I have an easier time believing that some "Lulus" may be legit (i.e. NT) but I still haven't seen Luka sign anything IP that remotely resembles those 2018 Prizm stickers - short, wide, and extra loopy Lulu.

I don't quite understand the conflict of interest. When Roderick Dixon posted those cards 2 weeks ago, he had no idea the controversy even existed.

I believe he had to wait 2 weeks because his employer, Sneaker Politics, instructed him to wait until they released this video. The video was released yesterday.

I think with the final nail in the coffin to "luka didn't sign the lulu autos" we will start seeing more conspiracy style arguments because people prefer to double-down on being wrong rather than be transparent and say "oh, new information has surfaced which causes me to rethink my original assessment".

Just to clarify, the type of autograph used on the Prizm IP auto has never been in question. The argument has never been whether or not Luka signs his name 'Lulu'. Luka was signing lulus before he ever entered the NBA. Rather, the evidence against the questionable Luka autographs is based on zonal proportions, balancing, angularity, etc.

Here is the original post from this thread, way back in Jan 2019. You can see that I use one of his authentic pre-NBA lulus as the basis for my analysis. Again, these pre-NBA lulus were NEVER in question:

And here's the IP Prizm auto next to the authentic lulus and the questionable lulus. You see it matches the authentic lulus (top diagram) and does NOT match the questionable lulus (bottom diagram), meaning this type of auto has never been in question and does not refute the original analysis:



Everyone is entitled to their opinion and I'm not looking to get roped back into this debate. But for those that are still interested in discussing this issue, you should at least understand the basis for the original argument.

Yeah. It's questionable to me.

As stated by others, most ppl have already made up their minds and are going to buy what they like. The only way this really gets a nail in the coffin one way or another is if we see Luka sign with the short, stout, wide, loopy style or if he/his mom admit he didn't sign some of his autos.

Luka seems like a genuinely likable guy. I want to believe he signed 100% of his stuff. Eye test shows me something different.

I don't like sticker autos in general, but I'm personally staying clear of Panini Luka sticker autos. For me, the more it's a scribble, the better.

Whether you have a scribble or a lulu, I hope everyone enjoys what they have.
