Anyway. I’m a sad Vikes fan (aren’t we all)…I just think Mahomes is the greatest individual talent I’ve seen at the position. Brady is GOAT no doubt - but Mahomes and what he’s done in his first three years? It’s awesome to watch.

Another sad Vikes fan here...my 1st PSA submissions were Moss & Duncan RCs back in '98, but sadly only got back into the hobby in spurts when the Purple Kool-Aid called, picking up some All Day AP's in '08-'09 but missing the boat on TB12, Lebron, etc. when I was more focused on collecting vintage action figures & grading w/ AFA.

Feel lucky to have gotten in pretty early though on Mahomes & built a fairly large & eclectic PC of him. With the possible exception of Air Jordan & Barry Sanders, he's the most fun, highlight reel worthy player I've ever seen in any sport .

Pump the brakes little fella I know it’s a Mahomes pump thread but he’s 1-1 in the big dance and could just as easily be 0-2. We need to see a ton and I mean a ton more before we put him anywhere near Montana. He will never surpass Brady especially since the old man has beat him twice on the biggest stage in his twilight years. Mahomes has so much competition in the coming years to stay relevant much less the best in the game. I wish you guys the best of luck!

Mahomes will never surpass your guy as far as accolades go,but in four years he's already proven that he's a better athlete,has better statistics,a broader skillset, a much larger fan base and the list goes on and on...oh....and lets not forget the kid is only TWENTY FIVE years old.
Lets face it...Brady's a has been and as far as relevance goes...give it 10 years and he'll be as relevant as Shrek the musical.

I have no idea how people didn't get you were joking around. This thread my be more painful this year than last year lol...

2018 were the good ol days in this thread. No stress here, I own 3 patty's total now for 1/5th the value I had last year. Will def be easier to watch the games this year. $50k of Patty's and not $250k of Patty's makes me feel good.

But I am still buying Patty's because well I like buying Patty's. Patty money has been moved to Lebron and TB12.

I believe in PM15 long term, but as a Chiefs fan first you can't be blinded by the facts. He has a longgggg way to go to maintain and grow his current prices.

Man, this is going to be a lot of fun come Nov. 7 when the Packers head to Kansas City.

I expect whichever QB loses that game to have his entire career defined by it!!!!!

Honestly though, these are probably the two most physically gifted QBs in the NFL right now. They haven't yet faced off head to head (they played in 2019 when Mahomes was out a few games). And while it's just a regular season game, I'm sure it'll stir up a lot of banter here, and will likely shape the MVP race until a week later when people are distracted by the next shiny performance.

Fastest to 10,000 career passing yards: 34 games
Fastest to 100 career touchdowns: 40 games

I think you need to look at the stats more for comparison instead of SB wins like most do:

The stats prove out that Mahomes has had the best start to a career of any QB in nfl history (at least in the modern era).

The question is if he can do it for the next 12 years while navigating injuries, salary cap, and what ever other issues will come up.

I personally think he can... I believe he is the next level athlete with charisma that will help him transcend the game of football into pop culture. But that doesn't mean he will or has to pass Brady's 7 super bowls to get there. I keep saying it, but I think he's the NFL's version of LeBron, whereas Brady is the NFL's version of Jordan (or is it that Jordan is the NBA's version of Brady?? Hmmmm).

Good news for me is I have no interest in what Hellcat has to say, and I just plain skip over his comments more times than not.
