It's possible that someone who really wanted it might pay,but not really probable.
Terapeak will tell us if it gets "paid" for,but even some "paid" for sales are bogus.

There's a poster on here and on Facebook who's been keeping up with how many green illuminations have sold on ebay since 2017. Maybe he bought it or inspired someone else to buy it with his SSSP comments?

It's a cool card, I'd rather have the regular silver though since Green+Red just doesn't look good to me despite it being much more rare.

No chance that was a real sale. A PSA 9 sold on 1/31/21 for $1586 and before that on 9/29/20 for $410. It's a very niche card but no chance I think that sale is real.

Y'all...I love the card. I'm not trying to pump it. If you look at my comments...I'm just saying that the Mahomes market is still strong across the board...regardless of card!

So no, it wasn't me that bought it...heck I sold one a bit ago and still have two left. So I sure as heck wouldn't be buying another.

Anything Mahomes is still selling strong.....that's a good sign.

9 months later got one of my PSA subs back. I'm not normally big on inserts but I loved the look of these. Unfortunately the grader for the sub was pretty rough.

Thanks guys. Took the sting out a little when I saw that there are no 10's yet on the Jubilee - just four 9's. I'm really curious what the print run is on these three.

Hello, I cracked out my Mahomes XRC BGS 9.5 TG +. Is my centering worthy of a PSA 10? Ive seen some on eBay that are the same and they got 10’s from PSA. Everything else on the card looks beautiful, sharp black corners on the back and I cleaned the surface off.

Saw somebody hit that card out of one of those Panini National Black Boxes. Wonder how many extra they have laying around that they can continue to put 1/1 stickers on and release through those products.

Yeah I think it’s ok too. I know it’s technically barely OC, but I thinks that is how Mahomes XRC’s are. 2/3 of the total population are PSA 10’s. I’m just hoping the grader knows that is how all the XRC’s are.

I’m shipping my Mahomes XRC card to PSA in like 45 minutes. Is it worth it to add insurance? It is very well protected, between 2 large pieces of cardboard. Then I added thin bubble wrap and then thick bubble wrap around it after. It has like 3 inches of bubble wrap around it. Pretend it somehow gets a little damaged, how can you prove the minor damage to USPS and wouldn’t PSA grade it anyways?

Depends what carrier. FedEx is pointless, they only insure up to $1k. I've never insured a single shipment shipping USPS priority express and have done hundreds of subs and sales with high end cards. Your call but imo insurance makes your package a target.

Just got it shipped out with USPS. Added $3500 in insurance, for peace of mind. Let’s hope for a PSA 10! Won’t be too disappointed if it comes back a 9 tho because I know it was a true gem plus with Beckett.

I admire the ballsy move. Good luck. Even if it comes back a 9, you could send it back to BGS and get the 9.5 back I bet. I'm a little nervous about the centering. Under "old" PSA grading it would be fine, but they hate giving 10s right now.

Exactly, I know it’ll 9.5 if I decided to send it back to BGS, if it got a PSA 9. Definitely wouldn’t do it unless it went up a lot in value in the next few years.
