at this point, nobody knows what PSA will be doing as far as when they reopen lower levels, what the price points will be, will middle-men be a viable part of the equation...it's all up in the air...

Haha. Wouldn't think it would take them a week+. While all six cards I have in there have gone up since I sent them in, none are in the territory of upcharging even if they gem, so I'm just hoping for 4+ 10's

51 more pops (light week?) A lot more in the QA steps now (71 vs 61) and about the same amount of of Research into grading. All this shows me is that the machine of grading at PSA is getting more and more efficient.

2021.14 popped a bit ago and pretty good, considering. I thought more of my WCJ REDS would get 10’s but it was not to be. 18 PSA 10’s 53/57 9’s or 10’s. Again at the price point I bought in the 9’s are good. Funny the Chronicles reds got mostly 9’s but the Prizm Pink and 2 Silvers of WCJ got 10’s.

Sub numbers 108/278 PSA 10’s. Higher number of early 90’s and vintage cards in this submission.

I’m not sure they are getting any more efficient (i’m defining “efficient” as grading more cards).

They are grading 150k cards a week on average the last three weeks, down from 180k they were hitting before national. Still a slog to get through the backlog.

How long is it normally from pop email to ship? It’s been awhile since I’ve actually got an order back without consignment LOL

It's another 2 business days before it gets to PCS, then another 2 or 3 business days to process orders and another 2 days via FedEx.

So maybe another 6-8 business days total before the slabs are in hand

Time is right, timeline isn’t. 3 days to receive, 1-2 to process, 1-3 for fedex / usps.

Super happy with my results from 2021.14. I was kind of anxious for the results as a lot of what I expected was going to be 9s or maybe lower on some of the older stuff. Especially with reading that PSA is being very tough on cards. But ended up with a couple unexpected 10s and 5 up charges.

I think that "tougher grading" has been spread around and accepted by many of the misinformed. If people knew how to analyze their cards better, they wouldn't be expecting 10s on everything they send in.

Previously I graded to the 10, but was sure would get 9. Last submission

This was my latest order I got back...4 cards I wanted to get to PSA before the price increase (never know what to expect with the handcuts, but thought that Jordan could have been a 9 -- have 700 more that probably won't be getting back til 2022):
