They all were performing real well. Why trade potential for a known product that isn't going to move the needle? This is why they need to fire Cashman. Yankees need to be rebuild and he wants no part of it.

I like it. At least he walks. Lefty bat. And we won't have to see Odor batting 3rd anymore

And I think the higher prospects are in play for Story.

Not unhappy about this trade at all. They gave up a bunch of nobodies that would never play for the home team in Yankees Stadium for a guy that at least has the chance to do something. Thankfully I save a few Joey Gallo Topps Home Run Challenge cards.

That would be awesome as that is my favorite number and someone needs to wear it to get the stain of Crap Rod off it.

Watched the last couple of innings at Kings while we ate dinner after the National. Kudos to Judge for hitting the game winning single, but you have to not screw up being that far off base.

Of course, all of us Yankee fans were like uh oh when Chapman came in especially the at bat against Cruz, but he thankfully got the better of him.

Now with taking 2 games from Tampa and the Gallo trade, they can once again sucker us fans into thinking they will do something good this year until their next 6 game losing streak.

Stanton must be the easiest player to strike out in mlb history

Adding Gallo will definitely help these problems.

A career .210 hitter who strikes out all the time, can't wait.

Boonie, the front office puppet, said that besides the first inning, Cole actually pitched well. Huh??...these are the kind of people running the team right now? smh

That's classic Torre. He would always say "It was really just 2 bad pitches" lol

Just love that the things that would actually help us compete don't even seem to be on the radar for the front office.

I still don't get the Wilson/Cessa trade after acquiring ho-hum Holmes.

So now Rizzo, they can't be done. DJ moves to 2nd no place for Voit.

Good player, but :: shoulder shrug ::

How good, exactly, does he think this team is? Getting rid of prospects for a rental?
