Anyone know the print run on the Bowman chrome #1? It has to be way more than the Topps chrome 83T-6 refractor and silver pack chrome #145 correct?

This is a great way to describe it. Don't get sucked into the momentum. Buy the right cards that present + price/value ratio, even if you go above or below your usual price point/card.

I had someone turn down an offer for a 2021 SC Gold Minted Refractor for +$120 last night. The 2019 and 2020 versions have recently sold between $40-$80.

I thought I was coming in strong? It's tough out there!

I'm having a wicked time with my 1950s/Ohtani internal struggle lately. I buy an Ohtani, I pick up a '50s card. Back and forth. No idea why this is my current focus but I do think the absence of frenzy around Ohtani (compared to what we would have seen in the past three years) has me looking for value plays in other places.

Basketball folks have NOT migrated. His cards would be triple what they are now if they had. I think the whole basketball folks have migrated line of thought is mostly false in general in the baseball card world.

Is this possibly one of those manipulations where folks target a card to send it skyward? I have a 93 Jeter that I bought that does not look like a real good purchase right now. FOMO kicked in and I've taken a pretty hefty punch to the nads. I deserve it.

This has happened with the basketball card market last year.

Well, I guess it’s time to dig up my Ohtani’s and decide what 2-3 to keep and sell the rest. Now do I sell my 2018 Triple Threads White Whale 2-Way Star Auto 1/1 HGA 9.5 and keep my 2018 Definitive Gold Frame Ohtani Auto /10 BGS 9.5, just too much money at these crazy prices.

Same I'm going through my boxes of cards from my 2018 rips, forgot just how many Ohtani RC's I stashed away in the closet.

Holding onto anything serial-numbered/SP for now, but plenty of base cards to sell off

Update Rainbow Foil has me intrigued. For pitching cards, I think it is the best and it seems like its still low in comparison of other star players. Sucks that Topps made is Series 2 and Update both pitching.
