i have more martin chrome then paper lol...

everyone seems to be real streaky though... you either get none or several in a row

I've noticed Martin and Sabato usually run together. I usually hit a Sabato chrome and Martin is in the next pack or two.

Is there a consensus top-5 players to pull from this? I never kept up with this thread because I never thought for one second I'd get any retail but I scored 10 blasters the other day so I figured I should at least know who I'm supposed to be hoping to get. Thanks!

Maxima Acosta (Rangers) and Austin Martin (Blue Jays) are the two tops IMO.

Blaze Jordan (Red Sox), Sabato (Twins) and Alcantara (Yankess) are the next three probably. Going on memory so I am likely missing a guy or two though.

Edit: Jeremy de la Rosa from the Nationals is in that mix as well.

Opened my 6 megas I got this morning. Wowwy wow wow....absolutely brutal!!! No autos, 1 green parallel rookie of the year insert of Carlson. Zero Martin of any kind, 1 paper blaze. Best card by a country mile was an Acosta mojo. So Acosta chrome besides that. No sabato chrome. This probably changes my mind of opening the 6 I ordered this morning. And probably won’t open anymore. That’s 4 blasters and 6 megas and only 1 paper austin martin

collation is nuts... i know it’s not even the same brand but there are stories like yours, then I heard two panini stories where a guy pulled 3 autos out of one prizm mega and another guy who pulled 4 Genesis out of 1 La Liga blaster.

Someone may have commented on this , but I actually found some Bowman blasters at Wally World and I got a couple and rang em up and the cost was $54 total. Was surprised that the price jumped to $24.99 per blaster.

pretty sure this is the new price point for blasters moving forward for all Topps releases

id expect Series 2 Blasters to also be $24.99, and Stadium Club in a few weeks as well

Gotta give topps customer service props. Pulled this card the day retail hit stores and it was damaged. A crease and a couple damaged corners. Not a huge card but numbered of a decent prospect.

How long ago could that have been? A month? Got a replacement back in the mail today. I have replacements with panini from october that i haven’t heard a peep about.

I have 5-6 base paper sets. Not sure where I stand on the prospect and chrome sets. The mojo set is going to cost A LOT to build for sure.

I'm not concerned with the mojos as I'll probably sell them, but there's no chance I'll complete the chrome prospects from just this much.

Mine were not great either. There’s no way I’m not ripping my next six, though. Ripping at retail is too much fun.

My 10 blasters:

Chrome auto: 1 green shimmer /99
Chrome color: 2 (gold insert /50, pink shimmer /199)
Chrome SP unnumbered: 1 speckle

Notable chrome base: 2x Martin, 1x Sabato

Paper color: 5

Overall, cost-wise it's comparable to a hobby box so I'm happy with my results.

I can't wait for my Megas to arrive.

Picked one of the Retail 24ct boxes up a couple weeks back from MLB shop. These seem like extreme value for the $119 they had them at. All this from one box; wishing now I’d of picked up more. Also was a couple Martin paper base.

Opened 12 fat packs, 1 retail box, 7 blasters and 2 mega boxes. I was short about 25 chrome prospects and 20 paper prospects.

Always iffy I guess to see if they will reprint a numbered card.

Wish this one were a little worse so I could try to replace it lol. Bottom left / top right corners are both white. Could be an 8 the way PSA is grading.

Managed to get 20 blasters for retail.
Probably should have stopped after the 3rd blaster when I hit the yoelqui céspedes yellow chrome auto /50
Hit the sparkle Austin Martin /299 in the last blaster.
Also hit an Asa Lacy auto and /150 blue paper blaze jordan we well as 3 chromes. Overall happy with the break. Nice to break at retail not sure if I should break my 24 megas. I have my doubts if it can beat this break
