Yeah he continues to make good contact since returning from the ab injury, even though results aren't there. I'd much rather see him working counts and putting the ball in play, versus pilling up K's (which we're used to seeing when he slumps).

I think it’s in reference to the Garrett “taunting” situation against the Cubs today that cleared the benches. He’s just saying that he thinks there will be more incidents like that now that pitchers are getting involved and lines begin to get blurred with what is acceptable by the other team and what’s not. Of course by the same token, the way baseball has always “policed” that is by hitting a batter which usually resulted in the benched clearing so there’s that.

That’s not exactly what Tom intended I don’t think. It just happened that Ronnie hit that one right after they showed the replay of the Reds and Cubs.
