Good on him. Always remember when the Cubs faced him he was a tough pitcher. Watching the replays it looks like there were some line drives towards the end that probably made some Padres fans heart skip a beat.

What a showing! Love that the hometown kid got the first no-no for the Fathers.

Had a good feeling around the 7th and snagged a few autos and RPAs.

Will def be keeping one (snagged the 01/99 National Treasures) and might move a few of the others.

No Jumbo Jack (locals will understand that) and it wasn't done at Petco. I am pissed!

So happy right now. Fun Fact: Victor Caratini has caught the last two no hitters (Alec Mills - Cubs)

Go Padres!!

Rolled out of bed at 8 am here, on four hours of sleep, to watch the game live.

I was not disappointed. What a great moment it was.

How'd you end up a Padres fan?

His stuff was nasty. If it wasn't for hitting Gallo in the 4th, who knows.

Long story, but here's the short version.

I grew up in Massachusetts, and in 1980 I saw the terrible remake of "The Kid From Left Field" starring Gary Coleman. I don't remember ever having heard of the Padres before, but I loved the way the announcer in the movie pronounced "San Diego Padres". That, plus the brown, white and yellow uniforms, got me hooked for life. It's been a 41 year relationship... longest of my life. I can't wait for the World Series parade this year!

Hmm... guess it isn't such a long story after all.

If Musgrove can have himself a solid year, that Padres rotation has some serious potential. Darvish, Snell, Musgrove. Lamet should be back soon. Gore should be up this year.

This clown (jdyer32611) just won a couple of my Musgrove 2016 BC Autos. He immediately tells me to cancel it because there is no RC stamp. What a Dummy!! At least he didn't pay and then once he received make that claim. Block and Relist

Ha! Cool story - thanks for sharing. I'd imagine the list of HK residents that root for the Padres and also happen to be from Massachusetts is pretty slim.

Next year will be even better with Clevinger coming back.

Absolutely. The hardest part for me is making it through the work day without checking the box score, so I can come home and watch the game fresh.
