I don't think there's a huge difference between the two sets so far, but I agree with Zonk that he's using more exciting player images. And, he's telling a story (to me, maybe not to everyone else) with the Topps designs that he's choosing.

There's a huge difference for me; I actually like these, and I didn't really like most in 2020.

All artists were (supposed to be) limited with regard to image selection in 2020 so picking a better in image in P2021 is my expectation, and I get really disappointed when the images aren't better. Most of the RC player images the cards were supposed to be based on in 2020 weren't great.

Welp, I have spent like 2x more on wheeler dealer than topps.com so far.

I'm in on the satchel and, honestly, I'm in for the artist set on the Brittany. EDIT: JRX pointed out it's Arod, not jeter, whom I'm also not in the mood to own more cards of. I think seeing jeter was a turnoff because it feels like I bought fifty thousand jeter cards in P2020. But seeing another player and seeing the colorful theme, I think the art print is going to *pop* when all is said and done.

It's not just that, I know that for all the artist sets I purchase from him, I will be required to trust him past the 6 months paypal protection period. He did honor all his P2020 sales and some of those cards were delayed months. I've seen no evidence that he won't fulfill the orders.

I thought the reaction to Bronsons Mattingly was a little overblown. It's ok in my book. Not the best, far from the worst. I bet the print run will be higher than people think. He posted it on his IG and a lot of non-sports collectors seemed interested in buying it. The thing that people don't realize it these somewhat mainstream artists like Bronson/Snoop doing cards only brings more collectors into the market....for better or worse.
