and here's my 2nd one. they're almost "twinsies". haha


....notice the theme , HIGH sub-grades, big issue is T/B centering,
which I can live with based on overall eye appeal.

I call them my "unicorns". I feel they are both undergraded slightly.

That is a PSA 8 or 8.5 imo based on subgrades. Worth cracking and submitting it to PSA for a crossover to PSA 8.

I've slowly been reducing the QTY of my collection and trying to add to the quality of the cards I hold. I have a couple PSA 9's already, but got them quite a while ago, at MUCH lower prices than they are now. I decided to add one more. Anyway, I love looking at everyones cards, so I wanted to share.

The nicest jordan card I have ever owned was a 1984 star insert "rc" was happy with it but was a card that I wanted to move. The fleer will be a sort of investment PC that I plan to hold for a few years. Think I owned the star for 2 months lol.

Looking for some honest opinions here. Bought this earlier in the year for $8.5k. I purchased it locally from someone who had pulled it and graded it, and shortly thereafter they left the hobby. The only reason the person remembered they had it, was b/c of the airing of the Last Dance. So I know that it’s never been submitted for grading more than once.

Do you guys think there’s a shot at a BGS 9.5 here? Heck, even a PSA 10? I feel like I’ve seen worse copies than mine in those grades.


It very well could be own personal bias though, which is why I’d love to hear some opinions from my fellow Jordan collectors!

So will the bgs 9.5, it will sell for more than a psa 9. Show me an iconic mass produced card where psa 9 sells for the same price as bgs 9.5. Again, my offer still holds. I will offer 10% commission if you can find me a 1986 Jordan Fleer or 2003 LeBron TC BGS 9.5 for the same price as a PSA 9. Just because you believe in something does not make it the market standard. A psa 9 sold for 28K yesterday and a BGS 9.5 (min gem) sold for 51K two days ago.I already passed a 50K offer on my bgs 9.5 last week. Why would I cross it over to a psa 9 to downgrade its value from 50K to 28-30K? Just remind me when a PSA 9 sells for the same price as BGS 9.5 and I might consider crossing over my BGS 9.5 to PSA 9 at that time

I would need to see a better picture overall to comment on the ten, but thats a very solid PSA 9 in my opinion. I agree to the comment made about the centering. I would also dial into the top left corner, but it might just be the picture as it is, hence the seeing a better picture or preferably a scan. Its a great card, and you did very well buying at that price. You should be happy! Thank you for sharing it.

Here’s my current #57. I have had a few come and go. This one is very sharp but the centering leaves a lot to be desired. I’m okay with this as my keeper but I imagine I’ll get an itch to upgrade sooner or later.
