How did I get into this? I watched one-half of OSU all year and that was today. They are my 3rd favorite team in my 4th favorite sport so you can count me as a fan I suppose but I'm not even in the BO Top 100 in that regard.

I think Notre Dame is in, and here's why. The committee decided one week ago that losing to LSU at home only deserved a drop of one spot. I think they did that in preparation for this week. If that loss hardly moved Florida, then losing to Clemson can't cause you to fall more than two spots.

- Ohio State missing key receivers impacted their passing game substantially - and agreed that it shouldn’t have but it did

- Ohio State made adjustments at half time to lean on their offensive line and running game and it helped them dominate the second half.

- NW may not be as bad as everyone assumed - including me - and maybe the committee was right when they ranked them 14

- Whether or not you think Ohio State is the 4th best team what team would the committee put in above them?

- They played two teams that the committee ranks top 15 and they won them both.

- Ohio State will be underdog against whoever they play in the playoffs.

I just feel the need to push back on the narrative that clearly the big 10 is terrible and clearly Ohio State is overrated based on pre conceived notions that you had to begin with such as Indiana and NW suck we don’t know that for a fact due to the shortened season and no out of conference games
