I know UO lost last week and UT lost this week. Both were close losses, and UT was able to hang with TCU for the entirety of the game but just couldn't pull it out at the end. Next week's game between UO and UT is huge. The loser is out of the Final 4 picture. The winner still has a shot to win the Big 12 with everybody pretty much at 1-1 right now.

Just a week ago, people were talking about how bad Florida State was. Today they got over 550 yards of total offense and outgained more than 2-1 today to (apparently) get a win. They're up 17 with 2 minutes left.

They would use it as a practice basically and still win by 40 points. FSU is terrible and that isn't changing anytime soon. And I am a life long Noles fan.

Pac12 is only playing like 6-7 games
Big10 like 8 games

There was limited/no practice for a lot of teams

I just don't know how you can determine a potential playoff team off of 6-8 games they play.

Um, it was an FCS team. Florida State is absolutely as bad as anyone said they were a week ago.

The Pac 12 and Big 10 starting late and playing fewer games affects nothing as long as Clemson and Alabama don't get a COVID outbreak.

I'm curious how Heisman voting will end up this year with the variety of games.

They are just not playing 3 games against non P5 teams and 1 game against a FCS team. If either conference can produce an undefeated champion they will be in the playoffs.

I doubt that. Oregon going 7-0 against that horrid mini-schedule of unranked teams isn't going to trump someone like Florida if they were to go 10-1 after playing Georgia, LSU, and losing to Alabama.

I swear, Texas A&M goes out of their way to shoot themselves in the foot, and find new unique ways to lose football games.
