74 million Americans voted for Trump. I'm not sure how many of them actually wanted Trump and how many wanted any republican over any democrat, but the actual Trumpers lost my respect. They are still my fellow Americans, but I feel like they got duped by a scam artist and in my book, that means it's harder to have respect for them.

You want to talk about being attacked when I could go through several messages right here in this thread (which I won't) as to the attacks and things that have been said about those that choose to vote for President Trump instead of Biden. I can also find several Democrats out attacking those that don't flock to their side and stand against Conservatives, but sure play the attacked card.

I don't idolize any president. I'm not an only Trumper in fact I didn't vote for him in the primaries. The loss of respect could go both ways, but it seems like only one side likes to use it and broadcast it.

Yes, I can get a lot of info from Daily Wire, Free Bacon, Real Clear etc, but I think its stupid that I cannot get a real story from NBC, ABC, CBS, PBS, NPR, Reuters etc anymore because of what theyve become. I only hear about thongs that damage Rs and nothing more.

Twitter is an excellent news source from both left and right. If you avoid the replies and follow the right people, you can usually get the information you need presented from both sides. The large selling point of Twitter is that you're not allowed a lot of words; so the information and reporting is typically fact based; no room for opinion.

The drama comes from those that believe they're getting facts. Few are.

The point is that many sources weren't just careful with it, but they completely blew it off in my view regardless of the timing is could've easily been treated as a developing story.

Yes it would make sense to treat those stories carefully, but unfortunately they pick and choose when to do so and it's typically determined by the letter in front of their name.
