Not sure if my Wal Mart restocked Mosaic, but they stocked Contenders Draft Picks Blasters and WWE Chrome for sure. Saw the displays both but Contenders Draft was gone (wouldn't have picked that stuff up anyways)

About 22 Mosaic hangers got stocked. No megas.
Had to fight off 3-4 guys for them. It was insane.
Got 19 of them and ran.

This Walmart has not had hangers in previous stocks.

Other Walmarts. Nothing.

Just getting back in late last year, and not seeking basketball until the initial Mosaic release, I simply can’t fathom what it would be like to get Prizm retail? I assume before Covid it would still be best to get there when the rep is stocking but has it always been this way the last few years? LCS guy once told me the reason is because half the supply automatically goes overseas or something? Is that true?

It started going nut-balls when Zion was in products. From that point on, FREE-FOR-ALL....now, it is all about doing the dirty and paying people off and stalking. For some, that may be the cool thing to do, but to others, not so much.

Welcome back to the hobby. Piece of advice, stick to singles. Even that will drive you nuts because ain't nothing going for cheap in 2020. Prizm retail on the shelf is like finding the magic unicorn and chasing rainbows probably not the best way to spend your time (especially if you have a job).

You can enjoy the hobby on a budget (especially if you are PCing Mitch McGary)....for example........

I missed a massive restock of Mosaic Basketball Hangers at my Walmart by about 20 minutes this morning. Got left with the consolation prize of some Panini Contenders Basketball Fat Packs. Evidently the person opened the box that was set out before the rep got there.

They are definitely stocking different days at my WM because this week was the first time in MONTHS our WM was stocked on a Wednesday. I went in yesterday to pick up a BDay cake and everytime I go to WM I obviously check the cards, but typically don't go on Wednesday because it's always been a Thursday thing. But when I went, there was an empty Display of Contenders Draft and a few blasters of WWE Chrome.

Really feels like everyone's been able to find something during this 3 week restock (to the point of some people being disappointed in only getting 7 Megas lol) BUT me. I'd be estatic to find a hanger much less 14 or a Mega. Yes I'm bitter and jealous

Beyond the insane amount of restocks, there will now be mosaic tmall, 60 cards/box and 12 prizms so seems like the best comparison in format would be the 80 card mega boxes. Not a good development for mosaic wax investing, great for collectors though

But even with the release of Tmall, it hasn’t been a major player in affecting prices of other releases though, correct? With it being overseas and despite it having a smaller print run, I can’t see it hurting the regular mosaic prices. It’s not listed in a huge enough volume on eBay to shift prices much.
