2019-20 Panini Mosaic Retail
 

I'm starting to see a couple sites advertising pre-orders for blasters and cello boxes of 2019-20 Panini Mosaic basketball. I'm assuming this will be a totally different product than 2018-19 Prizm Mosaic, since the "Prizm" is missing from the name of the new 2019-20 product, which appears to be releasing in April.

The blaster box description states 4 cards per pack/8 packs per box at $19.99, so this should definitely be a lower-end product compared to Prizm and Optic just based off that pack-per-box ratio. Not sure what else to think of this yet, since there isn't a whole lot of information out there, but I'm interested to see what it ends up looking like as we get closer to the release.

Dont know if its worth it. I never see the "i have a luka mosaic for sale and people jumping on it quick." Just looked at the luka mosiac and its a terrible pic with a terrible design imo. Zion hype might change my mind but im not holding my breath.

I like the LeBron Mosaic from last year, but as soon as I tried to pick one up, prices started skyrocketing to the point where I don't really want to pay current market value anymore. I think it will be interesting to pay attention to what this new retail product will look like. I'm expecting something very different than Prizm Mosaic from last year.

Honestly for the price, cant go wrong lol - I bought up a case and a few extra too on the cello. With this crap going on in the hobby - it's nice to cut out the second middlemen in every deal. Good to see the distributors make some money as they should but some just overdo it so they get all my business

April is usually the release date for Prizm Mosaic. I’m guessing this could be a different mosaic set. I’m expecting Prizm Mosaic again.

I saw a place that what is listed as just 19/20 Mosaic is the Prizm Mosaic, they just forgot to put Prizm in the title. There was no 18/19 Panini Mosaic last year, only Prizm Mosaic.

I guess we buy them up before people realize that this IS the Prizm Mosaic that has been released in prior years. And it's still at a reasonable price, or at least for now until Zion debuts.

I noticed the price on this going up . Also when are they going to offer this on the Blowout website ?

Glad I preordered the heck out of this stuff. Lol at the people in the other Mosaic thread telling others to stay away since it was first advertised as “Panini Mosaic” and not “Panini Prizm Mosaic.”

Prizm Mosaic sat on the website for weeks last year, and the content was pretty solid with numbered cards and on-card autos with a good auto checklist. The full product version of this has "watered-down" written all over it. I'm thinking this is going to be like what Donruss is to Optic. People will be excited about it when it releases (ie buying what they find at msrp at Walmart) but after a couple weeks it will be easy to find and in low-demand.

Grabbed some blasters and cellos of this stuff off another site. Even if it's not "Prizm" this year, busting anything 2019/20 at retail isn't awful.

Rolling the dice and pre-ordering some cello boxes. Hopefully the design is nice this year.

I am not finding any history of cello boxes from this product, is this correct?

Uh oh... doesn't have the Prizm name on it. Will Panini actually release two products called Mosaic or did Prizm Mosaic get the axe this year?

Yes, run, run away. Because this will be the only basketball product that will fail this year.

OK, looks like this is a completely different product from Prizm Mosaic. It will be interesting to see what the card stock looks like, but if it's not a Chrome-like stock such as Prizm or Optic, I can't see this being a hugely successful product. It might be along the ranks of Threads or Status.

The nameplate reminds me of 16-17 prizm and the background reminds me of essentials and spectra... Not bad tbh

If this is a Chrome, Finest, Optic, Prizm, Select-style of card stock, this product is going to be amazing.

I have to think it is with the cello packs coming with "3 Mosaic Camo Pink parallel cards per Multi Pack!"

Never seen cellos with the bonus pack that don't have a Chrome-esque finish.

These cards look fantastic. Where did you find them? I can't find anything on them.

The Team USA cards should be a big value add.
