Wisconsin and North Carolina for sure, Michigan I haven't looked into. I know it was being discussed by the GOP.

All joking aside, that's how liberal cities become ultra-liberal cities. Regular Americans, whether they lean slightly left or slightly right, have no desire to live in places like that.

Say what? Isn't the governor of Wisconsin a Democrat?

When you were referencing the GOP changing the results I thought you were still referring to the GOP stripping the incoming governor's powers after the election.

"When voter suppression failed they just changed the election results after the fact."

No one "changed the election results". You need to word your outrage a little better. Republicans passed laws that Democrats didn't like.

I said it intentionally like that to make it a point. It is not simply them passing laws the Democrats didn't like. The people voted for the Governor and the powers that go with that. Republicans didn't like the result of the election so they took the powers away from the Governor and gave it to themselves.

You lied in order to make a point? I wasn’t aware that you interned at CNN.

When one party is in power, the other side doesn’t like the results. That’s how we got to 6-3 on the Court. Either get used to it or get more Democrats voted in.

That's an incredibly bold claim to make that you think we will know on election night. If Trump does win, it will probably be a pretty slim margin since he is projected to lose the popular vote again. I'd say if we know who wins next Tuesday, it'll be because Biden locked in a lot of the swing states like Pennsylvania and Florida. We shall see, should be an interesting night. I look forward to playing League of Legends most of the night and not paying any attention to the results.

50 years we've had a liberal leaning Supreme Court. After just one day of a conservative leaning court; now it's "Gotta change the rules, pack the court, this is unfair!"

An interesting thought I saw on Nate Silver's Twitter responses is this. There is a lot of pushback from the right to have a cut off on when mail-in ballots could be counted. Right now, it seems like the Democrats have a pretty good lead on mail-in ballots sent in. If the right is counting on people to show up on election day and they don't, combined with apathy on sending in their ballots, that could have a huge impact on not just the Presidential race, but plenty of down ballot elections. I think this election will be incredibly interesting to look into when it's all said and done. I think voting is going to change going forward and will continue to look different in 2024 even without a pandemic going on. People are seeing how easy and convenient it is to vote by mail with over 60 million having already voted.

If you listen to GOWIFB, those ballots are bring sent to Mar-a-Lago where Trump and Amy Coney Barrett will tally the votes themselves.

Plot to kill Biden by a 19 year old foiled last week. He had guns and somehow $500K in cash

Plot to kidnap and kill Whitmer foiled 2 weeks ago

Plot to make a 'citizen's arrest' of Ohio Rep. Governor Dewine stopped last week.

Just because you don't hear it, doesn't mean it's not happening.

The outrage is comical. Comes off as extremely whiny(common lib trait)

Someone gets infected and the incubation period is what 7-10 days. In that time they could have spread it around their community but since no one can see it - it is "out of sight out of mind".
But if you don't need treatment, why should you go?

COVID is only a topic because it LITERALLY had affected nearly everyone in one way. Whether it's the virus itself taking lives, or the lockdowns. No other virus did this. I don't know one person who hasn't seen their life/lifestyle change, through this. It's mentally draining.

Having gone back and forth, I'd rather a slightly liberal leaning Supreme Court. What I mean by that is I'd like to think that the Court wouldn't get in the way of progress and change unless it was something that really spit in the face of the Constitution.

I didn't lie, I said it in an extreme way to make a point. And as I said before, how are more democrats supposed to get elected? Democrats outnumber Republicans or have an equal share in many of these states. However everything is so rigged against them that there is basically no way they can ever regain power again. 50% democrats yet 70% of the assembly is republican. And even if they do get elected the Republicans can just strip their powers away.

The reason it is 6-3 on the court is due to Moscow Mitch. He holds open a Supreme Court seat for an entire year.

Funny, I was just reading this morning about FDR's denied attempt to pack the Supreme Court -- yes, that's right, by the actual definition of "court packing" -- in 1937. Roosevelt wanted to add more SC justice seats ... this after he had appointed 8 of the 9 sitting judges!!! The Senate shot him down. Remarkable stuff.

FDR has a lot of socialist ideas he wanted and it was actually the Dems who stood up and said no.

Different time.
