O for about 20 stores today on Chronicles. LOL Did run into another rep today at a Target and, as fate would have it again, she had nothing. She did tell me a story of one lady camping out in the store with her 2 kids for hours waiting for the cards to be stocked. So pathetic.

And, out of my 20 or so stores I hit, literally 7 different instances of people already there looking for cards or they came up right after me. It's amazing to me how insane it is right now.

I somehow managed to find 4 value packs of Chrome BB at my very last stop at the Wally closest to me. Missed that Chronicles re-stock at some point today. Amazing the vultures left that after cleaning out the 3 trays of Chronicles.

All the Walmarts and Targets I hit yesterday, someone left 8 Topps Chrome value's as well plus a couple of Goodwins. The crazy thing was there was a full load of Yu Gi Oh, Magic stuff. The dude lurking there cleared that out.

Yeah I had some Goodwins where the Chrome was as well. I did pick up 2 of those and left several others. I have actually started doing Pokemon lately. I picked up a bunch of the new release, Darkness Ablaze, today. There are blister packs that contain 2 packs (1 pack is another release) that are a no-brainer at $4.

If I can't pick up sports cards by and large most times, I want to have something else to hunt for and I've learned a bit on Pokemon now.

at this point im all for the end of Target/Walmarts carrying trading cards. if not, then what they need to do is move the card section to behind customer service at Targets, and with the cigarettes at Walmarts where they can only be purchased from one specific location

not a perfect system, but its time for changes IMO

Found a few empty trays and 70 toploaders and 2 mag touches!! The place I usually go to that I thought stocked Thursday or Friday mornings either was never stocked or cleared out. Oh well, been buying undervalued singles and will be scouring for deals.

Whenever I check Walmart or Target for cards they never have anything nor is there ever anyone else there in the card aisle. With all the hunting for reps I must be going at the wrong times but I figured with how hot the chase is I would at least see some others looking but it’s always just an empty desolate section with no other signs of life other than empty boxes.

Hit a walmart first thing this morning only to find out 6 other people did too. Luckily there were 4 trays. Everyone was cordial. We split everything.

4 Blasters
4 hangers
12 fat packs

Should be a fun night! Ill post results!

Same for me. Never run into a rep. And I've maybe run into one other person in the aisle

haha yea man its unreal. Ran into a bot boi a couple weeks ago at walmart and was chatting with him just feeding his ego to get info. Based off of what he told me I'm about 99 percent positive he paid off the MJ holdings rep for his route. The dude hits him up when he's about to stock. Shifted my focus to excel locations to have a fighting chance. I know the stocking days and have somewhat of a good idea on the times, now its just a matter of getting lucky. I'm limiting myself to one trip to the store a day on stocking days. Had a "what has my life become" moment when I had walked around a target for 10,000 steps like a psychopath waiting for the stocker to arrive like I was an addict trying to score a bag.......not a good look. Thus the one trip a day limit.

So I re-asked about the Chronicles and mentioned that I would stop by Monday morning and he discourage me from that saying the next shipment was Tuesday. So I did go Monday about 11am and Prestige had been stocked. I asked about Chronicles and they said nothing new came in that day. Lol So I show up first thing Tuesday morning, only to be told that they had gone out Monday morning. Lol that was the beginning of the of BS hunting. The Chrome purchase and info had me positive but I should have known that the cards would come with Excel shipment and not Targets. My stupidity in not trusting my guy

1 tray each of blasters and 1 tray each of fat packs and hangers

Second store, we split 12 blasters between us

I wish that was the situation, but I went to look for Chronicles yesterday and there were 10+ people waiting before I showed up and I heard from some other people, that they were stalking the rep all day from each store.
1 person waits for the rep to park and get out of his car, texts their group and they all left 1 store to hit the store the rep was at, then onto the next store.

Exactly this. I had no issue buying Prizm, if anything I left some and go back the next day and it was gone.

But Optic, I rarely saw product and flocks of people were waiting at each store for the rep.

I was able to make a couple deals at $40 but it's still rough out there. Got insulted by the other 90% of sellers about lowballing. I mean seriously, offering thousands on something you just paid less than half of that for five minutes ago and being insulted. Needs more time to go down further.

especially if they bought for $10. 4x multiple is plenty, blasters already dipping to 3.5x

They’ll probably get rid of it before that happens. Last thing they want is to deal with hundreds of people a day in the line at customer service looking for cards. I agree it’s out of control now, but Id guess what happens is all cards go online and we get even less chance at msrp than we have now.
