Could definitely see that happening. Go check ebay there is lots of healthy interest at current prices and it feels like the undercutting is slowing down / bottomed out on a few cards.

Not saying all of them, but many of them.

From the second I bought it's been nothing but downhill and frustration following this board.

This past Monday I had grabbed both the Thiele Trout ($214) and Baller Trout ($199) followed by purchases of the Griffey Shore/Ryan Vides combo. Followed that with a single purchase of the Williams Oldmanalan.

I was hooked by Blake's live YouTube saying "buy everything". I thought for sure the Trout's were a wise investment considering it's Mike Trout and relatively low print runs. I was obviously wrong.

At this point I don't even know if I should hold or sell or if it's just a lost cause all the way around. Just a big bag of welp and a lesson learned. I'll stick to taking low risks and picking my spots to spend on Dirk/Luka.

I’ve bought uglier less valuable cards for more .. just tuck em away and enjoy em later .. you also might be pleasantly surprised monetarily

Next, I’d say your timing couldn’t be better. If you had come in last week you would have paid too much! Now things are getting reasonable again. Great time to jump in. Plus, you’re never to late to buy that day’s cards on Topps.com. Still plenty of set to go...enjoy!
The cards are beautiful, although I still don't have the Trout Baller in hand. At this point I'm leaning towards just hanging on to them and seeing if a miracle is left.

I personally think this Trout Ermys might run off a bit more before it bottoms. Way too many listings

One thing I hadn’t thought of until now. These aren’t serial numbered. Would have been nice if they were but I know that adds more cost and labor into the product.

Do we trust the numbers from Topps? These are easy enough to print and hypothetically speaking, it would be easy enough to print more than the announced print run. Or less. Just food for thought.

Edit - I do trust that the announced numbers are the same as the number in circulation. But there is the possibility for them to be different.

Is there 1,700 P2020 full set collectors? Most likely.

Is there 1,700 JK5 collectors? No sure.

Is there 1,700 Ichiro collectors? Absolutely.

Is there 1,700 people who are collecting cards they like and this happens to be one of them? Absolutely.

Now we just need people to stop listing them and start putting them in their collections. Ha.
I am collecting at least one complete 400-card set.

I am also collecting at least one 20-card JK5 set.

I am also collecting at least one 20-card Ichiro set.

At least three of those JK5 Ichiro cards have landed to stay.

But they continue to be bought up. Even in the 1k range. Lotta volume that will slow at somepoint. You have a lot this weekend that bought last weekend panic selling this week, and now they need to move along with the 100 shore Griffeys they bought. Supply should solidify by mid to late next week. Then hopefully a gradual growth for awhile. P2020 VIX was at a 90 4 days ago. Feels about a 40 right now.

It does seem like the VIX has started to stabilize for sure with these.

Has anyone seen what’s coming out tomorrow yet?

Nice to hear JK5 is getting some love. His set is going to look amazing together.

Eff Blake. He has done nothing but lie to us and take advantage of us while lining his pockets with his drip art and famny packs. I'd rather support Baller than Blake.

Exactly why I'm holding off buying one or two more.

I was really underestimating his work until I bought his box and exclusive card. The artwork is phenominal and I love the tie back to star wars. I'm really excited to see what he bring for the big dogs... Trout Jeter and Griff

When will we see Baller Trout above $125 again?

Are you collecting Chang? If not, at the end we'll do a JK5 vs. Chang battle. Loser buys the winner a $5 card of their choice. For the fun.

Bar far has the most intricacies and detail in his work of any of the artists. Infinite pen strokes.

Curious to see if/how they all tie together in the end. Can't wait to see the mahogany dick in a box exclusives in hand.

Okay, I for one love his art work. Did he hurt his reputation a little by his comments and hype? Yeah. HE IS NOT TO BLAME for all of this.

But look at this from his shoes. He was excited. Hearing a 100k PR imminent on the Griffey wouldn't make you giddey when you're getting $4 a card and he has the #1 in the set due next week. HE IS GETTING PAID! He's worked hard to be in his position and he was feeding his personal excitement to his viewers.

PS: His fannies are going to be awesome.

You got 3 to sell together? If so, you might be safe on June 30.
