Tried a few Walmarts and a couple of Targets to see if I would get lucky on some Mosaic, but no dice. Most of the shelves at these stores were pretty barren with a lot of empty boxes and stuff not refilled.

I’m going with Walmart this Friday (Full load expected), and then Target next week.

This what my working theory, but a theory nonetheless.

So to answer your question, id only take off this Friday this week. If someone reports a target stock this week, then report some Corona-symptoms and you’ll surely be given a few days off

(While at work, keep tabs open of target and Walmart.com and hope to land some that way)

It's weird to me that we've come to the point where no one bats an eye at the idea of taking time off work to go look for basketball cards at Walmart all day.

I hear ya. Actually, in my company, the HR head is pleading with us to take time off...like for real...like, PLEASE take time off. We all have been working from home and the mental illness issue is real for people who don't take regular time off.

I think only the Genesis are SSP, these are not. Wait till hobby and the rest of retail comes out this week. The amount of these posted will be telling on how short print it really is.

That may be it, I'm a teacher so our time off is really only if we're sick. We're contractually not even allowed to take a personal necessity no questions asked. We have to make a note of what that day is being used for and get approval from our administrators. If it's denied, I have the option of a day off without pay or no day off.

Maybe why taking a day off means something very different for me!

With distance learning, most these days seem like days off anyways. Definitely over it though, the kids are too (Middle School teacher here).

Had a similar thing happen, but even more diabolical. Local guy I know has cleared every Walmart within hundreds of miles of where we live. I noticed last week he found more(for sale on eBay) so I asked him which store he cleared out so I wouldn't even have to check there. His response? Target. Obviously trying to throw me off as I know(from this thread, thank you!) that Target hasn't gotten them yet. So, he didn't get hung up on. He got blocked. He's messaged me through eBay a few times since asking why I'm not responding to his texts. Can't stand a liar.

With that said, I'm going to follow the thread for a load at Target. I have a better chance there as I can't just leave and go sit there all day...I have things to do. Guess when there's thousands on the line, all sorts of bad human characteristics come out. I just like to open, haha. You wouldn't catch me selling any unopened .

Oh ya, I feel you. I'm not talking about the weird work from home times we're in now. That varies person to person and job to job. I've seen teachers that are required to upload their daily lessons to admin, clock in at 730 and clock out at 330, etc. Just happy my admin are not requiring that.

May be wishful thinking, but maybe, just maybe, after this kids will actually start to appreciate school!
