Not at 1,600. I had my eye on one but not anymore. It's like I saw it real time on ebay throughout the day. We've all seen runs on ebay before but this week has been crazy. At least for that specific card. I'm sure others as well tho.

I had a 97-98 Metal Universe on COMC for months. Someone FINALLY offered a little over $80 for it today. The hype is slow to hit there.

I always keep an eye on his 93/94 Ultra Scoring Kings and snap up a bargain one whenever I see it, but they seem to consistently be going for 400-500 USD right now, sometimes higher, for ungraded. Mine are ungraded since I hate slabbed cards, but looking at them they're in the kind of condition easily selling for 500+ right now, which to me is crazy - they're pieces of cardboard, and there's loads of them out there.

Not to mention the Retro Scoring Kings which I've been after for ages, but they're being listed for well over $1000 USD now. So not for me I don't think

Better start picking up his base Finest and Chrome as well. Either there is some real ignorance, or there is massive shilling going on. There is a 1996-97 Topps Chrome base of him in the $200 range.

If this craze is real, I have 100's of base Chrome an Finest I'm going to be listing soon. This explosion of the basketball market is nuts.

A month ago, I would look suspiciously at someone paying $50 for any of these base cards. There are some nice base cards, and in premium condition, I can understand a bit of a higher price, but I have no intention of chasing and Jordan base cards (excluding 87/88, 88/89 fleer), that go above $100 or aren't part of some limited release (e.g., finite, exquisite).

I’ve had great luck selling Luc and Ron Harper (in Bulls uniforms) base cards for a buck each on comc. It’s crazy.
