I did not want to comment until my sale was final.....but IMO Zion silvers are not going to slow down anytime soon.

I was EXTREMELY happy with what I got for mine, but the hype of him playing coming up will only increase the frenzy.

Went to Walmart to find baseball holiday boxes. Found 4 and as I was walking out, I stopped and chatted with the stocker. Heard my breaker talking about these so I asked. He had 3 displays so I took 1 and a quarter. Over $700. Worth the hype??? Hold and sell later?

Last Years Prizm is selling for 10K a hobby case for obvious luka reasons.... where do we see this being a year from now? debating buying a 12 box hobby case and packing away.

Hobby worth the buy.

Retail...I'm sure there will be some increase but once people realize retail is overprinted with unnumbered cards it will slow quite a bit.

And that would still make the print run like 10% of silvers.

I checked Target and Walmart near me last night and no NBA Prizm. I only checked the first checkout isle where I saw other Prizm boxes (football) and NBA Hoops, Chronicles, Topps Chrome Baseball. Should I have checked the toy section / board game area? I think I better go check again tonight.

At least for the Targets around me, the cards are just in one location: either by the checkout or in a dedicated toy aisle. Never seen one with them in 2 different parts of the store.

In the picture a couple of posts above yours, the hangers are the boxes on the right side of the display. They contain 20 cards in a clear cello, there are no packs. It includes a silver prizm, green prizm, and 4 orange prizms. Also could have orange jersey cards and photo variation RC's. They cost $17.98 at Walmart (not sure if they will be that price or $14.95 at Target).

The cellos are the packs in the middle of the display. They contain 2 packs of 6 cards (1 pack has a silver prizm and the other has a green prizm), plus a pack of 3 RWB prizms. They cost $10.98 at Walmart (not sure if they will be that price or $9.95 at Target).

In my opinion, the way FOTL is and how hobby is so high, people are going to want the retail value. While there is probably going to be a ton of it, I still think the value will increase for retail on the secondary market. If you can hold, I bet that would be fairly profitable for you later on.

My order status hasn’t changed from the day I placed my Fanatics order of 6 megas. Still says shipping on Dec 18 and arriving on Dec 30.
