I love Ozzie's personality and the way he plays the game. Can Albies still be "hobby good" w/ Acuna on this team?

I think there was money to be made with Albies, but he will just never come close to the hobby value of Acuna. The move with Albies would have been to buy when he declined last season and in the offseason and then be selling right now IMO. His stuff might go slightly higher than it is right now, but not by much. 2015 Bowman base autos are in the $80's now and I just don't see how it could be anything more than a $100 auto since he is competing for hobby $$$ with Acuna. I could be wrong though. There are a lot of people that have been priced out with the nicer Acuna stuff from 2018, and they are moving to his nicer 2019 stuff instead of moving over to Albies. That's pretty telling to me.

Underrated but a fun player to watch. It's great to see how he adjusted back to the league this year.

I think he will have some value ,but as others have stated... he's in the shadow of Acuna for the foreseeable future.

Albies will probably never get on Acuna's level hobby wise. I'm okay with that. He is a stellar player and he is super young as well.

Acuna is putting up some crazy numbers right now, but what if next year he goes .260 with 20 HR and 20 SB. Still good, but not good enough to continue his hobby dominance. While if Ozzie goes .260 with 20 and 20 it wont affect his hobby value much, but if he goes
.320 25/25 it could improve his hobby value.

I also look at how he compares to other players at his position. I think he is pretty stellar. Only thing is when Acuna goes 1-4 with a HR and SB the world goes nuts. Look down one position in the box score and you'll see an Albies 2-4 with a double, BB, RBI. He is baseball good, which I love!

I can see a positive groundswell occurring for Albies in the sports media in the future because he's going to be the best bang-for-your-buck player in MLB. His agent should be banned from ever representing anyone ever again after signing that contract. Basically 7 years/$35 MM and then 2 club options. He won't be a free agent until he's 31. Heist.
