I just hit a little jackpot... Two new in package Sony Walkman cassette players for $3 each... Quick search looks like they go for $130 or so.

Plus there was an N64 new in package sealed Walkman type radio...couldn't see one listed on eBay and a quick search but I think that'll probably be similar value... Will take some pictures when I get home

Tis the season for returns, I guess. Three returns opened up in the past 2 weeks. One because the guy swears the shirt he purchased is purple and not gray. I asked 5 different people what color the shirt was....they all said gray.

The other two, were because the item didn't fit even though I knew the size tag was off and included measurements to be safe.

Oh well. eBay automatically opened up the returns for me. Not sure if they are making the buyer pay for the return or I am getting billed on my invoice for the shipping label amount. Normally they have me send a shipping label to the buyer.

Pretty cool week at the GWO. Seen a lady pull over a hundred dollars cash from a purse. A man find 2 14k gold wedding bands from a change purse. I found a few nice items but nothing like what I am seeing others find.

They are billing you, that is the new way returns are handled now. You do not even get a chance to respond.

I believe you, but that doesn't seem right. In all three of these instances I am wanting the items returned, but there are cases where I prefer the buyer keep the item instead of returning it. Would I still get charged for shipping even if I refunded right away and let them keep it?

From what I understand (according to my invoice it has held true) the automatic returns require the buyer to return at their expense. It's for reasons not related to not as described or defective. Those still need to be "approved" where you will provide a return shipping label and be expected to refund shipping.

The automatic returns you do not have to refund original shipping.

Man, those Walkmans are great! And that N64 package is very cool, and as someone who collect N64 stuff, I never knew it existed. Great pickups!

Next episode of Sold! up. Some jerseys and apparel, more autographed cards from The Smoky Collection. eBay considered Christmas Eve to be a shipping day FYI in case you have next day shipping.

Found an unique North Carolina Baseball Practice Jersey at the Goodwill Outlet on Christmas. I think it may possibly be team issued. Has a generic looking tag with the initials A.G on the back of it.

Got my first negative in 7 years

- Hoodie was Navy NOT Royal Blue like picture and description showed.

"You posted a picture of a royal blue hoodie. You sent me a navy one. Being vague and cryptic in your item description by simplify saying it’s “blue” shouldn’t excuse this misleading sell. Just looking out for fellow buyers. Take care."

Was just a used kids $15 blue under armour hoodie. Never had the word royal in the listing like she claimed.

I had this three years ago, it was an argument about maroon and brown. He thought maroon meant bright red.

I just got my Christmas negative (I get 1 or 2 every Christmas) States the jersey was fine, he washes it and a hole become apparent. No pictures but I suppose it's possible. So I tell him I'll take a return on it. But wait, he wants a partial refund. I tell him the policy is return for refund and he tells me I'll regret it. I get the negative, in the negative the one hole becomes two holes. Why lie about the number of holes? Like if people saw it was one hole it wouldn't bother them but if it's two they won't buy from me? Baffling.

That could be removable if he asked for a partial. Ebay has been removing more and more on that reason lately. Especially when he said you would regret it. Sounds like a feedback threat which would be extortion. I believe I would try until it got removed.

The fact people are so upset, even when a return is offered to make it better, that they need to leave a negative is pathetic in every sense of the word.

Hey guys I've been reading this thread for a while and think i'm going to jump in and give it a try in 2019. My wife loves rb thrifting for herself so its something we can do together and maybe make a few bucks. Going to start with "vintage" shirts and caps which seem easy to find and ship. So question from a newbie:
What are obvious cant lose (most thrift shops here price tshirts at $1.99) stuff to get us started?
From my research it seems DISNEY, liscensed sports, and/or concert/music stuff are obvious?
Would love any constructive help for starters!
Thanks in advance
