I used to have a channel. It’s still up but I don’t really do much with it except watch my friends videos and other stuff. It’s a pain to upload now. It was so easy a couple years ago and I would do a mailday video almost daily. I love the people I have met through there. There are some jerks but I just avoid them. I also became a lot busier and wiser with my collection so I don’t get as many cards any more. I wish it would grow because there are some cool ass dudes on there.

I enjoy watching GBs and Chris at Cards Infinity, but I usually put group breakers on mute and just say "Nice!," "Sick!", "Nasty!" to simulate their stimulating commentary.

I also enjoy kg sportscards breaks because it's fun to watch rich people open crazy amounts of expensive products and keep most everything PC.

I have gotten tired of watching box breaks unless I am the one doing it for the most part. Also, Youtube is doing a great job screwing up the platform and ruining it for the small creators that built it up in the first place. It is sad how much they censor and demonitize videos and views they dont like.

I think most people here have it covered.

Takes too long to "watch" a box break compared to scrolling through a thread here. If I watch a break, I tend to just fast forward with the mouse through it and playing it on the interesting spots.

Most people are just not entertaining to listen to. It does take a certain personality to make looking through cards interesting.

As far as, reviews or rants on certain boxes. I couldn't give a hoot 95% of the time. I will make up my own opinion based on a box break/write up or whatever.

Sort of on topic, a pet peeve of mine. When somebody gets a graded mail day and the first three to five minutes of the video is them opening the shipping box and pulling out the packing material. Dude, just have the cards stacked on side before you start filming!

I hate the type that ramble on about their daily life.

Just show me the card so I can give you a thumbs up on the video, just keep it simple.

I'm not trying to make this sound sexist and she does a great job with her videos. But if you want to watch something a little bit different than your typical middle-aged guy ripping open packs, I present to you Baseball Card Babe.

Definitely not your typical collector. I think most are men in their late 50's I read somewhere. Pretty cool

And.... first video I attempted to watch, she mispronounces player's names right off the bat.

Nice to see a lady doing this. Too many overweight old hairysasquatch like men doing this. Very refreshing. I’d like to propose to her now.

I love watching vintage and even not-so-vintage 90s/early 00s box breaks. There's actually a couple great channels on YouTube I've come across that do just that. A couple of these are board members...

"90s Bball Cards"

I'll watch a break I was in, or at least the recap (usually just the recap, unless it's a quick (40 minutes or fewer) break.
I'll watch something that people whose opinions I value are telling me I really should watch.
Other than that, not normally a good use of my time.

If I want to watch videos it's going to include hot broads or a midget

No joy in watching another dude open packs unless there's something to cheer for on my end

I rarely bust wax (live or GB), so it serves as a good reminder about why I made that decision

The only videos I watch are the op's and the only reason I watch his is because I know him personally which adds an extra layer of interest. Actually, the only layer of interest if I'm being honest. It's more of a way to keep in touch with what a friend is up to than it is to look at cards.

I just don't get the fascination with seeing mail days etc of people I've never met and likely never will. The only caveat would be collections that are as narrowly focused as mine and exactly the same (HOF autos only). There are so many splintered interests though and I have zero desire to look at things outside of what I collect.

You may say that I sound pessimistic and get off my lawnish and you would be right. However, the simple fact is that there is only so much time in a day and there are 10,000 other things I'd rather do with my time than watch some old fat guy open bubble mailers. Full disclosure, I'm not so young or skinny myself so take no offense to the last line if it hits a bit close to home.

Too many people ramble on about nonsense before they open their packs. Better edited videos with meat and potatoes aren't as cringe worthy to watch. Its about quality content and there really isn't much of it when searching videos of people opening their cards.

Forums are different as you can search your specific topics and quickly read the response.

Used to watch card videos when UD still had their NBA license for exquisite. Watching someone bust 20 cases and hitting all those MJ, Kobe, Lebron stuff was pretty wild. *Attyball

It just doesn't appeal to me. At all. By anyone.

Anytime I see a headline of "AARON JUDGE 1/1 GOLD GIANT 12-BREAK PATCH SUPERFRACTOR MOJO LQQK!!!1" or whatever, it makes me want to dropkick my computer.

Change it to someone I collect and I might care. But no one is pulling the stuff I collect because I'll be shocked if I find another Cory Snyder collector on here.

Plus every time a collector uses the term mojo (aside from mojobreaks since it's their name), it is a further sign the terrorists have won. Don't let the terrorists win.

If I'm on YouTube it's for music, old sports clips, or cats.

Channels like the ones I posted are way too uncommon, it's really a shame.
