Jill Stein; for anyone who brings up her name, please remember that she was the Green Party candidate in 2012, and she received the same number of votes in the state of Florida as .... Rosanne Barr.

~9,000 a piece.

Politically incorrect is a big deal. You don't want to spark a rally just because you say some stupid things. Remember when Hillary said "All lives matter"? She took a hit as well.

As for corruption/liar, no politicians are saints.

Is that true? That is fantastic.

I think if there was a disenfranchised liberal voter out there they could see a spreadsheet with bullet-point "policy" beliefs and vote for her over Hillary.

I watched her in a couple town halls and she's just horrible - not that she's a bad person or unintelligent, she's just so soft and unwilling to tell someone to their face that she disagrees with what they said. If someone asked her about something she would clearly be against her standard issue answer was to mutter on saying nothing for a minute and finish with, "I think it's a good idea that we take more time and look into it - something that should be studied".

You're right. However, it should not be as big of a deal in my opinion. I actually had no idea Hillary said that. Good for her. I support that notion 100%

Too bad, the general public did not support Hillary's "all lives matter". She had to make the correction.

So, PC is mean and rude. It hurts everyone. Hillary learnt from it. And she will continue to say a lot of things that are not from her bottom of her heart. To a lot of people, this is "lying".

As for Trump, he has not learnt from it. I am not sure he will change anyway since he lives like this for the last 70 years. This is who he is. So, his wording will continue get attacked.

Would you rather have someone who is authentic, which will upset people from time to time, or someone who is scripted and will say whatever the people want to hear at any given moment? Which of these is a better leader in your eyes?

Our Choices summed up:

Hillary: Defended a rapist. Married to a rapist. Destabilized Middle East. Criminal. Liar. Major health concerns.

Trump: Likes pussy.

Yeah, it's always great when people post stuff like this, because clearly that one recording is the only thing people don't like about Trump.

To be fair, he also left out about 25 other Clinton scandals from the list.

Forgot that Trump slammed law abiding innocent Muslims and Hispanics. Threatened to disallow Muslims from coming into the country. Proposed a wall on the southern border that would not only be astronomically expensive, but paid for by Mexico, a sovereign country. Gets set off by the smallest amount of hate on Twitter. Has zero political experience. Gets along with very few in Washington. That's before I even get to any of his business dealings.

Put it this way...

Since he is not going to be the President, those things are not going to happen. And that's why people don't list them in the "bad list".

Most of those points are opinions based on how you interpret context. Mexico is never going to "write a check" obviously, but will pay more in tariffs, taxes, and visa fees to help pay for a wall. Trump having zero political experience and not getting along with Washington is exactly why he has a chance to win this cycle.

Man, some people are going to be shocked on election day when they see the silent support of Trump via the American people.

Also, can't wait for a bunch of ignorant kids my age to be sorely disappointed when they get up at dawn to run to the polls to #feelthebern and he's not even on the ballot.

The GOP party fractured when the Tea Party started getting a lot of power. The party had to move right to stay together. The Dems have had a similar move to the left since the Bernie movement started. This divide is very apparent in all of the major elections going on because while one moves left and the other moves right our country becomes more and more divided. We need leadership at the top that will bring those back to the middle.

The sad truth about our country is that way too many people don't understand who or what they are voting for. One of the many examples is the death tax. Lower income Republicans are adamant that they want to make sure the death tax goes away. Instead of doing research and understanding what it is they are brain washed to believe that it will be good for them. In reality, the death tax only effects the richest of the rich. Well that probably isn't true but your estate needs to be worth at least $2 million. (That could be inaccurate as it changes every year and I just don't know the exact number for 2016 or 2017).

On the other side you have people voting for increased minimum wage and free college tuition who don't understand the actual effects of those policies. There is absolutely no reason a kid in high school needs to be earning $15 per hour to put fries in to oil and then take them out. Also, from mainstream media reports, folks that have gotten an increased minimum wage are now requesting to work less hours. This is so that they can continue to be below the poverty line and get government aid.

The major problem we face is that folks that want to game the system will figure out a way. Whether it be Joe Schmo living in the projects who wants his government check. Or it be Joe Millionaire who wants to save a few more bucks on his taxes. We need systematic simplification and we need people to pass a litmus test to get the government aid that they want. With the way our government is setup now none of this will happen which is sad and will lead to the decline of our awesome country. Change needs to happen and I don't think Trump or Hillary are the ones for the job but unfortunately one of them will get it. I'll take the one that I think will screw it up less.

This is a much more respectable post. And nicely written. More of what I would expect from you.

I agree most people do not judge candidates based on issues, which I mentioned a few posts up with less detail. Unfortunately, I do not see that changing. We cannot limit who votes to just those knowledgeable on the issues. It is a right of a US citizen to be able to vote in US elections.

The only thing we can try is to educate others on issues and have open discussion about issues. Try to get past all the well he said "he'd grab p****" well "she was ok with Bill doing it when he was POTUS" crap and look at the real issues behind each candidate. Sadly, almost all media needs to keep ratings up to make $$$ and can't talk about in depth issues and must slump to being ratings whores and showing the most shock and awe they can.

Simplification of government is sort of the Libertarian platform and I feel a lot of folks would be all for less government if it means less corruption and waste. Unfortunately a third party in this country has never been able to put forth a exemplary candidate or gain enough traction with the general public to matter.

It will be interesting to see how many votes Bernie gets as a write in. It may be a lot more than anyone expects right now.

Doubt it. That claim is made every election year, and it never even ends up being a rounding error.

My prediction is: A sexual predator will move into the White House on January 20th, 2017.
