Yes, as am I. I know the logic is that our vote doesn't matter, because our states will be voting blue no matter what; but I still think it's important to actually vote for what you believe. My district will only have about 1,500 votes so my one vote will make me smile when I see that 20% voted Trump!

Don't worry I will be voting for Trump in the swing state of Florida.

See to me it's not just about a persons one vote, it's about discussing the issues, or madness in this years election, to then have someone sitting on the fence vote one way or the other based on what they learn. As dumb as it may sound, I guarantee you that out of the thousands of views on this thread, from people who would never jump into a crazy political discussion on here, some have learned about Wikileaks for the first time and then told someone else they know about it. That is how discussions like this spread without people even knowing about it.

I'm simply saying it's reasonable to be skeptical about polling right now, considering it was terribly wrong just a few months ago.
With the amount of data involved and the trend lines, especially in important demographic areas, I am more skeptical of people that are skeptical, than I am of the polling process itself. I am a data driven individual though.

Data driven, my degree is probability and statistics ... but the evidence has shown in this election, for whatever reason; the data isn't as reliable as it has been in the past. There may very well be a polling issue in terms of Trump supporters actually identifying themselves. It appeared to be a problem in the primaries, it may still be a problem now.

So for me, I'll just wait until the 8th and the votes come in. Perhaps in three weeks I'll be proven to be an idiot for not believing the polls all along (or something changes before then) ... but like I said. Skeptical.

We're being played so badly it's embarrassing.
For your amusement, it's 17 minutes long and in today's world of instant gratification I'm sure some won't take the time to watch it.
Please do.

My problem with polling data is it only counts the data points in which people agreed to respond. There is no column for those that failed to answer.

I understand there is error margins in every poll which account for what 2-7% usually. 90% of the people I know wouldn't answer those polls because it is none of their damn business.

Not trying to say the polls are wrong just pointing out for all these polls have going for them the clear bias towards only counting the 'votes' of those willing to respond and answer could influence the outcome.

Should be a monster story, the media covered these rallies for months during the primaries; the night Chicago rally was shut down, they were on air for 24 straight hours talking about how these rallies are just too violent, Trump rhetoric etc. And here we have guys on camera talking about their training ops, bird-dogging old women on air tanks ... it's crazy.
It's more hubris than anything. Look at what happened to Hillary with the email thing.. nothing. They don't care what gets out, because they're not fearful of consequences.

It's funny, because plenty of people are saying it's a Clinton landslide win, yet the campaign has been pulling desperation moves from the get-go. With the recent sexual assault smears, I think I can smell a lot of hot poo in the Democratic pants..

Politico reporter Glenn Thrush asking for feedback from Clinton camp before publishing a story. I do love the "Sorry to bother".

Please tell me someone here has been watching CNN for the last 15 minutes on a tv with a DVR?

Because I'm not watching on a tv I can jump back, but they just did a piece on trump supporters who believe the election is rigged.

And someone walked across camera holding a Paul Ryan yard sign with traitor written across it, it didn't occur to me until it was off the screen, but I'm pretty sure it was spelled "TRADER"

PLEASE tell me someone can jump back a few minutes and see if I'm right and take a picture of it????

Might I recommend a vote for the Libertarians, if for no other reason than to help them get 5% of the vote. Maybe we can do some good in 2020; particularly from states like ours where the winner is already predetermined.

Not for me. Trump is the way to go this year. For me, any non-Trump vote is a vote for Clinton, and that is not an option.

https://wikileaks.org/podesta-emails/emailid/11011

I spent some of this evening reading Hillary Clinton's paid Goldman Sachs speech transcripts. I know none of you will, but if you have time they truly are fascinating. For as much as this forum has harped on her, the woman KNOWS HER STUFF! Watching her public speeches and the debates she comes off completely robotic, and almost like every line she says is rehearsed. Couldn't be further from the truth when reading those speeches.

I'll preface this and say that those are the only Wikileaks emails I've read, and I actually have a more favorable view of Hillary Clinton than I did prior to reading them. I thought they'd be full of dirt, full of corruption and so forth. Nope. Not even a little bit.

They did show that her "private positions" are a bit different than her "public positions", but other than that nothing earth shattering. I completely see why Goldman Sachs would pay her what they did for these speeches. You get what you pay for, and I have yet to see someone on this forum speak with such fluidity and knowledge pertaining to a myriad of subjects as Hillary did in those speeches. If she's worth $250,000 I'm worth $25.

Again, if you haven't read them you should.
