I told the consignor I was peeling the Webber as a test. He was fine with that. Not a huge financial risk I'm sure.

I would let them know my recommendation backed up by sales data and any peculiarities of the particular card (is the coating secure, bubbled? etc.) and they could abide by it or decide not to sell...

The consignor doesn't make decisions about how to run the auction company. They decide to use a company based on trusting that company to do what is best.

Sometimes that requires a good auctioneer...

Any thoughts on to peel or not to peel? I just had a bunch consigned to my auction including a Yao Ming Rookie (27/250) and a Kobe. There's a Garnett peeled and I peeled a Webber just to make sure...
