Not saying they are the same player but Jackson Merrill got the job out of camp in a new position, started to get the hang of things in June and then post All star game led his team into the playoffs...

I don't want to clog this thread but is this kid going to figure it out or what? Year ago he looked OK playing most of the futures game miced up in CF. Now hes 21 in high A with a sub .700 OPS.

These three are going to end up grouped together like Mayer, Anthony & Teel (Now Campbell). Wouldn't uprise me if they all went up to AAA together on the same day.
