Default Which do you like better: Green vs Gold

With Select releasing yesterday, and all the parallels that comes with, it brings me back to a thought I've always had: Which of these parallels would most collectors would rather have, the Green /5 or the Gold /10?

I've always been partial to the Gold, but the counterpoint to that is the Green's have 1/2 of the print run thus are twice as rare. I'm of the belief that the Green parallel is strictly for rainbow chasers, and most PC collectors would rather have the Gold parallel for their collection and could care less about the Green. I'm also of the belief that the Gold parallel is worth more (as the demand is higher).

So what say you BO? Do you prefer Green or Gold? Which do you think holds the better resale value? Which parallel would you rather pull out of a box? Discuss!

Greens normally have set BIN with only small % going to auction, many more golds on auction, I have never pulled a Green but have pulled quite a few Golds. I personally like the look of Golds better!

Green has better resale value than gold in Select. Both look great with refractor.

I think Flawless is the only product that gold /10 can sell more than green /5, and silver /20 sell more than red /15. The green/red foil just looks really bad.

I'm 100% behind golds. Green in most cases just doesn't look as nice.

I prefer golds over green in almost all cases, but there are some exceptions. Like the courtside subset last year, or when the green matches well with the jersey colors.

For me as a player collector, I always go for the gold first. If there is an opportunity for me to get a rare green one, I would get it too. But gold looks a lot better to me than any of the prizms, just my opinion.

Gold pairs well with everything. Green clashes with most teams color schemes. Green may well sell for a bit more, but gold is just much more visually appealing most of the time.

I wonder what the line of thinking was when they decided /5 would be green instead of gold.

I bet they just knew they looked better in most cases and wanted more out there.

Obviously I'm in the minority here but, for Select, the greens have a depth that the golds just don't have. For Prizm I'm for gold all day long, but the Select greens are mesmerizing.
