Default I wish I was rich enough to piss away $1,500

OK the title is a little misleading, he could still beat me, but it's the Championship of my league where first prize is around $1,500

His RB's currently -

Forte, Gordon, Stewart

That's it. He obviously will start Forte. Gordon is now on IR and it sure looks like Stewart won't play.

What do I do because I'm smart? I put in waiver claims on Woodhead, Sproles, and Ware - assuming he'll also claim one so he can field an active roster with $1,500 on the line...

Yet I get all 3.

Apparently he's going to risk starting Forte and someone like Charles Sims in the Championship.

Good Luck with that.

i guess it just depends on what the rest of his team looks like.......would i want to roll the dice on that absolutely not but it can work. i got stuck in the middle of the year with some backups but other positions carried me through it. provided that he's not taken there's another rb you didn't mention that he could go after and i'm assuming he's not taken yet.

oh what do i care i don't know the other guy so what about donald brown?

Well of course there are guys he can pick up (technically though Sims is the highest rated left)

My point simply is that with only 2 of us left he only has one person to compete on the waiver wire with. Why not have your pick of the litter?

It more just made me laugh. I'm sure he can find someone that will be decent. It's just a huge hail mary if you're going to let me pick up the Top 3 RB's on the wire when I don't need any of them.

Woodhead will keep the same role he always has. Brown will take the early-down role.

No - I don't think Woodhead is the starter

But he was the highest rated guy still available if you choose to believe the "experts"

Ugh...if you are playing in a PPR Sims is always a solid guy for 10-15 points. If he gets a TD.....even more. Started Sims in a bye week crunch and got 18. All you need is 10-12 to keep a float out of RB2.

yea i mean if its PPR then woodhead should have been owned a long time ago...and Sims is just as good as the other two you listed...if its standard then none of them are that enticing anyways...and this year at RB outside of like literally a handful the position has sucked anyways...

the last 5 wks of the year ive started: Draughn, Riddick, Latavius(who is like 7th best all yr...which shows how bad RB is), Hightower!, Sims....

This post was in jest...

Because right now he hasn't dropped Gordon or Stewart. He has one active RB with $1,500 on the line and he let me pick up 3 RB's I dont need

That's all the point was

I did a similar thing as you did. I am in the championship and I have freeman who has been carrying me quite a bit. However I noticed McCoy tore his ACL so I picked up Karlos Williams and I had waiver priority so I knew I would get him and then I put in for Christine Michael. I dont really need either of them. I might start Williams over Doug Martin not really sure yet. But he went a different route and picked up Rueben Randle and Artis - Payne. I hope he loses I wanna win this year lol. He has taken 1st the past 2 years I wanna mess up his 3 Peat.
