Default Need Help Identifying an Autograpgh?

So i know there are a lot of very knowledgeable people on this board and i was wondering if anyone could help me.

My mom worked as a airline assistant back in the 70's and she told me she had met a bunch of famous people in the day and always asked them for autographs. Mostly Actors & Actresses.

As we were going thru her old signed peaces i came across easily recognizable signatures from people like charles bronson, fae dunaway, telly savalas and others. But this one she dont know who it is and either do i.

It look like it says "yours in heart" inscribed? and a name that seams to start with a C? like carello or something but im stumped.

It is dated from 1977 so that person male or female would have been popular enough in those days and easily recognized i would think.

Any Help would be greatly appreciated!

-Compare the letters in the words you know to the signature.

What's the first name of the person? The letter string after the 'L' looks similar to a letter string in the first name of the signature.

Good luck.

So this appears to be someone that has a literal sense of writing. They were most likely taught the correct shapes in cursive, ex. b looks like an l with a little loop and extension.
Best I can tell is that
6 or 7 letters in the first name, 9 or 10 letters in the last name?
1st name: Your guess isn't far off from mine
1 - C (most likely first letter)
2 - o (almost certain second letter), mirrors the o in Yours
3 - e (not so sure about this, could be an s that's poorly written)
4 - e or l, but it's tough to tell
5,6 - 2 tall letters, most likely two l but it could be a tl since the swoop comes back to cross them. The other option is the last tall letter is a b, which means there might not be another letter at the end for a 7th.
7? - looks most like an o

Second name: Albertson? Not sure, tough to get anything that resembles a name I've heard of
1- A, not sure it could be much else
2 - l, looks like an l
3 - b, if the last letter in the first name is a b, this could be a b as well, which means the next letter that looks like e, man not be a letter but the loop on the b.
4? - e?, maybe a e if not a b before it
5 - r, looks like an r to me
6 - e, starts to get pretty confusing here to me
7 - if the last letter is an e, the straight vertical line might be an i?
8,9, 10? - then it looks like it could have 2 oo together or two rr together with an e in front of them
I tried to think of any way any of those letters could match up to a name that I've heard, but came up with nothing, so I not sure if that helps at all.
Good luck

I've been studying this at times today too. I love a good mystery. Is there any way you can scan this flat OP? What's your mom's first name? The second letter is also the second letter in signer's first name.

The first name first letter could be a C or G. CAREL (r in heart is same) I'm not sure the last letter is a L because the letter before it is def L but the last has a shoulder like an H or K. It's not an O because it doesn't match O in Yours. It also swings back and crosses the two previous letters like a T.

I photoshopped the names so they're easier to read. I'd also post this in Non-Sport, those people probably know older celebs and might not visit the OT section.

If it helps anyone, the first letter in the last name looks like a W or an M to me and maybe the first letter in the first name a G? A C would slope right into the next letter and not do a loopdy-loop.

Gotta scan this thing flat.

Gotta let us know who is being addressed in order to at least be able to rule in or rule out several letters. To "Lou"? "Lew"? "Lori".....Who?

The inscription is probably the name of a movie or something like that. No way it says "Yours in heart"

Who came up with this cursive garbage in the first place?

Closest thing I came up with was Abbott and Costello, not even close.
Chava Alberstein?

I don't know why it made me laugh, but next to Bryan Adams it says "Canadian Rocker".

I looked at 1977 Emmy and Grammy winners lists. The key is to jog your mom's memory - she met the gawd dam person. lol

I am thinking that the last name may start with a W.
The pen doesn't leave the paper from the first name to the last.
I also do not think that the second letter in the "To Lou" is an "o".
The "o" in "To" is distinctly a different stroke than the second letter in the mom's name.

I also suspect that the signer may not be well known since no one can figure it out...

Yah... first letter of last name could be an S and the top part of that letter is confusing the end of the first name... they could be 2 L's and not crossed T's at all...

First letter of the last name is definitely a M in my opinion. I do the same kind of swirl before my M in my last name. I am think it's a male if the last letter in the first name is an O.

The last name looks like it starts with an S not an A. Looks like Sil... something.

Okay let's throw out some initials here.

I'm ruling out "CW" because the closest thing I came to that was Cornell Warner and that's not his auto.

It was probably some drunk airline passenger messing with your mom telling her he was famous.
