Default If Topps does another Archives Signature set what players would you want

Ok I know of of a handful or two of players i wish Topps got for this yr. So what about next if they do it again?

For me

Derek Jeter
Will Clark
Tim Wakefield
Pedro Martinez
Trot Nixon
Curt Schilling
Lee Smith
Kirk Gibson
George Brett

That's a few i can think of But i also don't want so many of the same player on 10 different cards .

Willie Mays
Brooks Robinson
Bob Gibson
Mike Schmidt
Luis Tiant

There's probably a ton more guys I would want to collect, but wouldn't want to pull for the prices they go for...

Just on this, are you sure? Would you rather have 100 1975 Willie Mays Autos, or 100 Mays autos, but 15 different cards all /5-/15?

I would rather have many different ones. I understand player collectors might have having 15 "Variations" in the product but I think this adds more "Value"

And I don't have any players worth much, but would like Kazmir to have a Chrome auto I guess.

Chuck Finley
Garret Anderson
Mo Vaughn
Darin Erstad

I'd like to see them done around great teams from the last 30 years - the Indians from 1995, the 1993 Blue Jays, the 1996 Yankees, the 1989 A's.. maybe even some quirky stuff like the 1993 Marlins and Rockies, the 1998 DRays and DBacks, the last lineup of the 2004 Montreal Expos... If they're gonna repeat it, go nuts with it!

I'd say buy maybe five total deceased legend buybacks on Topps cards. Throw in one of each; Roberto Clemente, Mickey Mantle, Thurman Munson, Jackie Robinson, and Satchell Paige. There are PSA/DNA Topps cards of those guys out there, and the images of each being a 1/1 on a sell sheet would have pack rippers ready to play the lottery for them.

All these in a Tigers Uni--Dean Palmer, Rob Deer, Mickey Tettleton, Cecil Fielder, Tony Phillips.

Manny Ramirez, Charles Nagy, Jim Thome, Kenny Lofton, Albert Belle, Orel Hershiser, Sandy Alomar

Plus it would be cool to see some duals or triples....I.e topps league leaders subset signed by all subjects

I don't think you will see an Irabu.

Yeah too bad on the Irabu. May I add, Kenny Rogers, Ramiro Mendoza, Mariano Duncan off the top of my head. I need those for my World Series PC

I like the idea until I think of a "cut window" on a 1953 Topps Paige card. You know they wouldn't hunt down and purchase an actual PSA/DNA signed card of him or Jackie Robinson

After thinking more about it - how about dual signed buybacks of the 1993 and 1994 Topps All Stars? Or triple-signed cards of the more recent League Leaders? Or QUAD signed buybacks of the "rookie stars" cards from the 1970's?

I would want for them to stop destroying the visual appeal of the card fronts with a hideous foil stamp.
