That is great value and a money making case.

Go back to your Topps Chrome or National Treasures basketball for the 25% returns and leave this product to those of us that enjoy it.

Love the Einstein autograph. What's the deal with the Wheeler Logo cards - one of the patch cards you pulled is gold and the others look like the company logo.

The Einstein saved the case IMO. So you are correct that with the Einstein the OP could/may make money on the case. Without it, no way. ALL the other boxes in the case would have been painful by themselves for the money.

Awesome Einstein but honestly, who in their right mind cares about bird and coin cards, don't understand why people even would consider buying this product.

Oh well, might just be me .

how can u even say such a thing, its not a stated company nor do you know if any of the "other" hits will be actually collected so until that happens and demand occurs for certain cards or sets please do not play the value card.

if it weren't for the Einstein you would have had a total different standing point.

I don't care for it myself but there are coins, animals, and other random stuff in other popular products. To each their own 😃

I know but those were integrated over the years and not straight out the gate in the first ever release of a product, if you can call it that anyway .

Oh well, guess there are buyers for every type of product .

Saw some boxes busted at blowout last night, horrible.

My intention is not to bash a certain product but if its expensive and the content does not make any sense I will share my thoughts, on the other hand I don't expect anyone to care lol.

I like Matt, I like him taking the risk for trying something new.

I'm not sure there is any interest in 9.5 base Sportkings cards, maybe the Pistol Pete, but the other others, not so much.

Time will tell if the benefits of the chase/trade in/up will payoff

With just 80 cases produced, I thought we would have seen more of the non-SK hit cards that I saw in the video from the National. Were these all packed out in release 1 or are some reserved for future releases?

Just for people to note - Wheeler Collection will take back any of these cards in trade in toward other items that are available on their site.

I could send back any card that I do not want and get website credit for it.

Matt has already stated that a coin card with one ounce of gold in it would be very close to 1200 coin credits.

The ratio for trade in is as follows:

All repack 1/1's - 175 credits
All repak non 1/1's - 15 credits
Any gold bar cards - 90 credits
State Quarter cards - base - 15 credits
State Quarter cards - silver proof - 35 credits
One ounce silver coin card - 50 credits
State Bird patch card - 10 credits
Origin of the Union card - 30 credits
Wheeler Collection logo patch card - 65 credits
Art redemption card - 65 credits

I could keep the Einstein and the Selanne cards and send every other card back to Wheeler collection for credit if I wished. I would get to keep two cards and have 1650 credits.

Feel free to go to his site later and see what 1650 credits would get you - then come back and tell me if this was a good case or not.

thanks

I think what people fail to realize with this product is it's not all about the initial content. There are some quirky unique things that people aren't going to like coming out of the case but if they do some reading about the product they will realize they have value. You can trade them in for credit as mentioned to "purchase" something else or you can rip coin cards to reveal other things. You can also piece together the puzzles and redeem them for the full size art. There are proof sets that can be collected and redeemed and the gold bar cards can also be collected and traded up for more gold. Also the base SK cards do have value since a lot of the ones inserted are SP base cards and then there are mini base that have short printed quantity. Are all boxes/cases going to be winners, of course not. I do think that the perceived loser boxes/cases will yield more of a return than say a loser case of National Treasures. I have not bought any of this but seeing the initial boxes I do like the product. With that being said if anyone hits Ohio State Puzzle pieces shoot me a message.

Thanks for posting this Dobber.

People want to call this "crap", etc., but they just simply don't want to believe there is value there.

So you've correctly illustrated how that case is a winner, (money maker). That's 1 out of 80. I wonder how many more there will be?

If people are paying attention, there will be more.

I didn't realize that those state cards were rip cards, that's pretty interesting. What's the most valuable thing you can get in a rip?

The website is just as convoluted as the product. Do you have a link as to where on that site the trade in information is? I figured it was under the "Keep" or "trade" link, but that send you back to the main screen.
