Default Ebay trouble! What do i do?

I won an auction for a stephen curry patch auto /5 for $161, it came in the mail today. I opened the package and I received a Klay Thompson auto that the same seller also sold for $31..... So some how the cards got switched around and the now curry owner was supposed to have this Klay Thompson, Im almost positive the klay thompson winner will not contact the seller because he only paid $30 and got that curry. So im not sure if I will ever see that card but can i still get a refund? It says no returns but this was the sellers fault not mine. Please help any advice is appreciated

This is not a return, the seller sent you the wrong card. Contact him first and if he doesn't make it right file a claim with eBay.

First thing to do is email the seller.
He should offer a refund if he cant get the Curry to you.
If he doesn't, you open a claim for item not as described.

You'll be fine

Do you really need advice from the board on what to do? Contact the seller and go from there...

OMG I'm out of underwear, what do I do?!
HELP - My car is out of gas, what do I do?!
URGENT - I cut my hand off while working in the shop, what do I do?!

And no, I didn't have to respond. But yes, I wanted to.

Do I wipe from the front or back first? Figured I'd ask to double check

Maybe he relisted it to flip before getting the card in hand. It looks like he used the seller's picture.

This is the OP's listing. He listed the card before it was in hand.

"Ebay trouble! What do i do?"

first of all - end your listing BEFORE someone buys it

This.....please avoid furthering the fiasco. Perfect example of why selling something before getting it is dangerous.

I always question these knuckleheads that list cards from online group breaks that they haven't received yet. There response is "none of your frickin' business.

Looks like the OP has some backtracking to do. Nice lesson learned here.

The question is, why would you list a card you didn't have in hand? What happened to you is a perfect example of why you shouldn't do that...

That is the first time EVER i have done that. I always go by the rule get it in hand first, but with Steph being the winner of the finals i obviously wanted to flip it quickly. And as you can see that didn't go so well, but at least no one bought the card originally

Lesson learned, I guess.

didn't you relist BEFORE you had it in hand?

thread made: 06-17-2015, 09:29 AM (eastern)

original ebay listing ended: Jun 17, 2015 , 7:52AM (pacific = 10:52 eastern)

current ebay listing ends: Time left: 1 day 4 hours Saturday, 11:21PM

Saturday is June 20th. Since this has more than a full day left it is not (obviously) a 1 day listing. Therefore it was either listed the 17th (3 day - would be my guess) or the 15th (5 day).

So if you did not get the card on the 17th, then how did you have the card later on the 17th to list?
