Default Has anyone seen a Gold Prizm Auto pulled from 2013-14 Prizm Hobby?

Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone has seen or pulled a Prizm Gold Auto from Hobby. Last night I pulled a Wes Unseld Gold Prizm Auto from a case of 2013-14 Prizm Hobby Basketball. I've seen 10-12 hobby case breaks online and busted two myself, but I have never seen a Gold Prizm Auto out of one.

On the product review for 13/14 Hobby it says the hobby exclusives are Prizm Gold and Prizm Black base. On the product review for Jumbo it says the exclusives are Prizm Gold and Prizm Black autographs.

I'm sure it's more common than I am currently under the impression, but like I said, I've been witness to almost 3,000 packs busted and this is the first I've seen.

Thanks for any input.

PS- The other case hits were: Brilliance Purple Kobe /49, Brilliance Noah Gold /10, Giannis Antetokounmpo Prizm RC Auto /25, Kyrie Irving auto, Rudy Gobert RC Auto, and a Marshon Brooks Prizm Gold /10.

I pulled two Gold Prizm autos in one 2013-14 hobby box last year. Granted, they were Gail Goodrich and Jeff Withy.

I have not.

And wow, this solidifies what I think of Panini - not to hijack your thread, but I'm seeing a REALLY disturbing pattern coming out of Panini.

All their high-end hits don't seem to surface upon release. I've learned with Panini - and I'm talking ALL sports - it's MUCH better to wait a few weeks for the initial wave of product to surface. When sales slows down a touch, the bigger hits seem to magically show up.

Also, I've learned to stay away from their retail. It's just awful.

Maybe I'll make a post - I typically don't flame or call out, but this is unusual.

NT Football is a perfect example of your suspicions.

I figured it was quite common, but it was an unexpected hit for me, nonetheless.

Nice pull. I love the looks of those Prizm Gold Autos.

I watched one case break of Jumbo online the other day and out of the third or fourth box was an Abdul-Jabbar Gold Auto. They are just extremely rare in hobby by the looks of the other guys posts.

As far as the distribution and collation of products, I am oblivious. I have wanted a solid explanation from the leading manufacturers on these two subjects for a long time.

I pulled an Isiah Thomas in one box and a Kevin Durant in another one (plus an Anthony Davis Gold Dominance). Needles to say, I'm a huge fan of 2013-14 Prizm. Interestingly enough, I bought both of those boxes in 2015, so...

Not trying to start an argument. But in this case i think you're just seeing what you want to see. Plenty of people have pulled gold autos out of 13-14 Prizm, myself included. Prizm just happens to be a really high print run, so /10 cards pop less often.

Pretty sure it is already settled law that it is prima facie illegal to 'hold back' hits, going all the way back to the famous Goudey lawsuit where they held back a card in Group 2 so that kids would buy more and more packs trying to complete the set.

Identical logic here.
