Has anyone dealt with Prostein123 in the past? If so, what was your experience with him.

edit - Has anyone consigned with him.

OP, I've bought from him many times and have always found him to be fantastic to deal with. As for consigning, do a forum search but be sure to have a lot of free time. There are many, many threads.

Personally, I don't like their descriptions, or lack thereof. Very plain.

On the other hand, I recently did a consignment with PWCC. I can say without hesistation that working with Brent and the PWCC staff was as good as it gets!!! So professional, accurate, and courteous. (not to mention I got $3300 for my 1967 complete set) Honestly, if I have anything I need to consign it's with them.

On a side note, my last few auctions have brought in more than Probstein123 with identical cards. My Trout Elite got $386 yesterday on 1 day auction and his same card graded BGS 9/10 only got $366 a few days earlier on a 7 day auction. My recent Kerhaws with the same grade have gotten more too. Maybe you should consign with me? haha

If you have any facsimile autographs send them to him and he will list them as autographs and get you top dollar!

I know there are many threads about various concerns with Probstein. I have bought from him and not had any issues. I have consigned a few small orders on several occasions and not had any issues either. I received a check once and the other times he paid via Paypal. I can't complain, but understand some of the problems others have had. Best bet would be to research and read up a lot and make your own assessment of the information.
