Question about a card

So I saw this on ebay today and it made me chuckle a little. I asked the seller if it was just a crazy background that he did to match the card, but he said it was actually rectangular. Are people starting to even fake these?

It's an uncut proof of sorts. You can see on the card the line along where it's supposed to be cut

the "rare" insert market for the old product is a mess.

nice card, but heavily cropped for the photo, prompts questions about the edges, corners or if even real. Could be a stolen image.
