So how are the Chrome breakers feeling?

I only ordered a hobby box and its not coming until next week so I will live this break through retail and reading Box Breaks posts

How are people feeling, or does this question get answered after Ebay sales end?

I have seen a few Manziel and Bortles Ref. autos pulled, anything else besides the few Supers?

The cards do look better in person, which I know many people are thankful for.

I suppose like most breaks, some cases treat you well and some make you throw up a little.

i feel like not enough color per case so far.. plus way too many blah non needed autos.

i have 2 boxes right here im gonna open later and pull NOTHING good lol.

Color is lacking, it is making me think that shipment #2 is going to be loaded, or this really was mass produced to a point where the base autos are going to be worthless.

I broke 3 boxes for the hell of it.

5 numbered color refractors.
no major autos
2 Manziel base & 1 Manziel Ref

No Bridgewater, Watkins, Carr base.

I think it's a decent break for $70 retail.

Not a good break. Several sticker autos and several autos of players who weren't even drafted.

Been seeing a lot of crap so far. That may be true, but to be fair, people have been criticizing how Topps has handled this.

I prefer Topps in general, but they have lots of issues as well, especially with the massive SPs of the big names the last couple of years. Massive overproduction with Chrome is gonna hurt Topps.

At least with Panini, you can just about guarantee a big name in a case due to generally similar print runs of all the rookies.

Color is BRUTAL. I just finished 4 cases and unless you count refractors, I got SKUNKED. The biggest 4 hits of my cases were...

ODB Refractor Auto
Derek Carr Refractor Auto
Teddy Bridgewater 1985 Auto
Eric Ebron Super

Hopefully the 50 case break saves me a bit.

I look forward to chrome every year. It's my favorite set as a collector by far, but this is horrible. I've watched 10 cases and very few color autos. 1 Manziel base, 1 Teddy RPA, and 1 Watkins base. The rest were lower tiered guys. At least last year the base autos were numbered.

You are complaining? From what I've seen you killed it and you hit a super. I would count my blessings.

Doesn't sound bad. I'd rather have those guys' refractor/1985 autos, than a few low # autos of some scrubs. Super is a decent one too.

It's brutal! Spent a 100$ on retail yesterday and got three boxes today and I'm through two and wondering if I even want to continue......

Two base autos of players I've NEVER heard of, ones a #@#@#@#@ing sticker as well.

2014 chrome is a dumpster fire and I am already done with it.

My two boxes weren't great, but this is the only product I buy boxes of and I don't expect to make any money, so it was fun to open some packs. I did get a case hit, Tom Brady 4000 yard, not great, but hey, I beat the odds.

I'll do ok, but my complaint is about the lack of color. I couldnt believe that no color autos came out of 4 cases.

Yeah, I get it. More cases, less color per case. It's looking pretty bad overall.

I broke 2 cases, I feel good for the first weekend, but i'm not doing anymore after those 2..... unless it's super cheap, which it is? so? I might get crazy who knows, lol

Had one color auto and one patch auto in my case, and the biggest name was Crowell, but I think the real brutal beat is the 1 to 2 numbered color refractors per box.

That will probably be me. I haven't looked at much of the color refractors, but that's more important than the autos. I think people, including myself, are making a big deal about the lack of autos, but I feel like it's never been the reason people bust Chrome, in general.

Busted a box at LCS and got a Crowell auto and Manziel Sepia refractor. I think I did pretty well considering what we've seen so far. I think I am done until cases get to $500 or so before I will break more.

The only real issue I have is the QC or lack thereof. I'm speaking about the "Chrome" not going all the way to the edge. I thought it might have just been the retail I opened but my Hobby box was the same and so were the cases Chris J opened today.

My box could have been worse content wise. I got a Stephen Morris Camo auto, Polamalu Red, Kaepernick SP, Aaron Murray Pink, a BW and a Pulsar. My refractors were decent too with Bridgewater, Clowney and Benjamin.
