Special thanks to blowout!

So recently at the National Sports Collectors convention in Cleveland, blowout was offering a contest where if you were a member and filled out this slip you could win a gift card or a prize pack, so I filled mine out and dropped it off. Two weeks later I hadn't heard anything and assumed I didn't win anything but then I saw a thread posted and what do you know I won a $25 gift card. I was ecstatic and looked for stuff to buy. I ended up getting two packs of 2012/13 Select Basketball and a pack of 2013/14 elite. I couldn't get anything more because ups shipping costs $7/8 alone. I was still pysched and I got the packs. I opened up one of the select packs and nada, then I went on to the elite pack and got zip. Now I really didn't expect anything since it was three small packs, finally I opened the last pack and this select pack seemed thicker, with my luck on things in the past I assumed it would be a decoy......
But what do you know... I got this!

Great pull! Good for you, but I had a question?

Forgive my ignorance, but ''group sub'', as in...? To have them slabbed? I have some PC cards I'd love to get done, but wasn't sure if it was worth sending in...I think the minimum is like 10-12, and the cards probably average out at...20-30 bucks a piece. I've seen people on here say that low to mid end cards aren't worth it, but...

Is it worth it, or a waste of money? Obviously that Kyrie would be, but not sure if I should do some of these. I have a 'Melo Ultimate Signatures and few others I'd like to do. Sorry for jacking your thread, but any help would be appreciated.

No worries here is my input. It usually costs about $7 per card plus return shipping back. So judge for yourself. If it's pc, and your not selling it is it worth lets just say $10 per card for nice protection and a nice display. It honestly is all preference. I don't have a high income to spend on cards so I would rather save that $10 per card to buy other stuff so it's a matter of preference. Hope that helps

It helps, a lot. Thank you very much. I'm kind of in the same boat as you, financially, as I have kids and a.) they cost mucho dinero , and b.) I do this more as a hobby, just to enjoy something that we can do together, so I'm not buying cards in the 3 digits, although I wish I could sometimes...lol.
