Default Misplaced card by MVP Sports Cards on Breakers.tv

On 7/5/14, I won a 13-14 Archie Goodwin Elite Rookie Essentials Patch Auto /25 via eBay. On 7/7/14, the label was printed. On 7/12/14, I was refunded by the seller, gthedonlouky (MVP Sports Cards on Breakers.tv), citing the item was misplaced. If anyone breaks with these guys and accidentally received the card, please let me know. I super-collect Goodwin, so this was not what I wanted to see. I understand it happens from time to time, but I would like to track this card down.

Dealing with a whole bunch of cards and a whole bunch of shipments, something like this is bound to happen. But man that really sucks, especially since you super-collect him. Hopefully you can find a replacement on your own or maybe it will pop up in gthedon's breaking area somewhere. Most likely it got shipped to the wrong person.

I hit a draft card #2 from a signatures break that they did and I never received it. They never gave me an answer as to why so eBay gave me a refund. I'm curious how often they "lose" a good hit versus losing a common hit. If they don't make enough from eBay auctions for the teams, keep the high dollar hits to resell and just refund the buyer's money. Scam.

If they lose a card they should pay you what the card is worth. If I ever did a break and lost a card I would be paying for them to buy a replacement. Thats pretty weak by the breaker to just refund their money. They will be scraping the bottom of the barrel for customers soon because thats unacceptable to me. They should buy the next one in regular auction off ebay and ship you the card you won. Its hard enough to get a GD hit let alone let some clown lose your card.

Agree with this 100% and I would insist that this be done if I were you OP.

Unsure if you won the break spot or actual auction of the card.

If it was the auction of the card obviously disregard.

It sounds like he won the card on Ebay not via a group break.

Correct, eBay auction. I mentioned that they broke cases because people know them from breakers.tv.

opened 3 boxes of Signatures with them where they promised me 30 Father's Day packs which is why I made the purchase.. he (Gordon) tells me he shipped them. 2 weeks later and no tracking and no responses to my texts/calls.

Wasn't until I told him I would pursue legal action until he finally admits to not having them. Mind you this is now a month after the purchase. Tried to compensate by offering me a 50$ box of Prizm baseball. Had to file a police report and constant calls to eBay and Paypal to get my money back. What a damn waste of time.

no good in my book.

Update: Anthony/Gordon finally emailed me and said the card sold from "the case", which is why they refunded. He offered me the chance to choose two lower-end Goodwin cards for $25, which I passed on. I also told him he needs to remove any cards in auction from his case. I hope this doesn't happen to someone else. I guess I'll have to wait for the card to pop up again.

Here is the feedback he left on my negative from my missing group break negative I left:

Reply by gthedonlouky (Jul-10-14 22:26):
I did respond to messages, purchased the card, sent it, sorry it took some time

Guess what part I never received, the card he said he mailed me. Based on his messages, our transaction is now fine, when in reality, it is not. I can't change what he said in his response, but it not true. Based on your experience, he sold the card I was missing out of the case also. I tried messaging him on eBay many times and the only response I got "are you the guy with the missing hit" or "my fault, I will look into this". Hopefully, the B.o. Forum will be careful with transactions with this seller.

I am sorry you did not get your card. It sucks.
